March 31, 2022, Advisor ordered a TCU component for a recall and never called when it came in. After 3 months I make an appointment for rear wiper replacement. It was not in stock so I paid and ordered it and the TCU was still not in. I made another appointment and the TCU was in but the wiper was not. Now we are in September 2022. I had my money refunded to my card. They unleashed the Doberman Pincher Service Advisor on me. After explaining the history, he showed no emotion and the body language said I don’t care. I had other things that needed attention on my car but I chose not to have BMW of Towson provide me service. I think I will get rid of this car (2017 X3 SUV). I am a teacher and I would or treat students or parents rudely, nw concern for their issues. Why does BMW of Towson have advisors? No one advised me just treated me like I was a problem. More
My pregnant wife and I went to check out a car at this location and the salesman treated us as if we were wasting his time for the 5 mins we were there. He barely held a conversation and didn't even ask u location and the salesman treated us as if we were wasting his time for the 5 mins we were there. He barely held a conversation and didn't even ask us any questions in what we were looking for or even what brings us there. After I pointed out a car to look at, he said he would be back and ended up helping another customer. Little did he know we had a check in hand from Navy Federal to buy a car same day. We wound up purchasing a car from Autonation Chevrolet, who provided us great service and accomendation as soon as we pulled up, even without an appointment. More
Do NOT take your car here for service! I have had nothing but bad experiences over the last 2 years. Last Dec, I took my wife’s car in for basic maintenance check, and they told me it needed new tires. I onl but bad experiences over the last 2 years. Last Dec, I took my wife’s car in for basic maintenance check, and they told me it needed new tires. I only had 10k miles on it! I took it to a tire shop, and they said the tires were in great shape, just needed to be rotated. The BMW Towson tried to charge me $1500 for new tires! Then today, I took the car in again for maintenance. My wife booked the appointment online two weeks ago, and this was the earliest date available. However, the “free maintenance program” expired yesterday, so they wanted to charge me $529 for an oil change and brake fluid. Really? You don’t allow me to book an appointment before the maintenance program expires, but then won’t honor it when you finally have an appointment available? Never mind, I will take it somewhere else that doesn’t try to rip off the customer. Oh, and don’t waste your time talking to the manager (Carl Brand). He couldn’t care less! More
Everything was good except that i was told the service to balance and rotate my tires would cost $99. When I received my bill, the charge was $109 and then there was a $15 charge for "miscellaneous supplies" balance and rotate my tires would cost $99.
