This dealership is horrible. My 2016 BMW 430i broke down on a Tuesday and I got it towed to BMW of Towson. The first text message I received, Thursday, before they took a look at my car was an additional $1,000.00 worth of services. Some services they already performed with the last year. Hello people my car broke down, I want to know how much it would cost me to get that fixed before adding on routine maintenance that I don’t need. Insensitive to say the least. So, through text message, I was told it was my fuel tank which was under BMW’s extended warranty. I asked when would the vehicle be ready and the representative said Friday or Monday but she would let me know on Friday. No charge, which was great. I didn’t receive any contact by the representative on Friday. So, I called and the service representative said that the representative was out of the office. The representative checked to see if it was ready and they were waiting for one part that could arrive by 2:30pm. If so, my car would be ready by 5pm. No, further contact on Friday so I assumed it would be Monday. However, the next text message on Monday mapped out another $1,000 of just in case repairs. I passed on the work because it seemed a bit predatory. My wife popped up sick Monday so I picked my car up Tuesday. I check in and a representative radioed for someone to pull my car around. I went to get some water and I stepped out to where they pull the cars around and I see someone drive away in a car that looked like mine. I wasn’t sure because it is a BMW dealership and plenty of similar vehicles. I inquired with the representative and she said she called for the vehicle and nothing else she could do. 10 minutes later; she pops up and said an enterprise representative took my car. So, I’m like someone stole my car. She went and got another representative and he called to figure out what Enterprise took my car. He originally said Hunt Valley, which is about 30 minutes from the dealer and 45 minutes from my house. He said he would give me a lift to the Hunt Valley Enterprise. I opposed that and asked for my car, where I dropped it off. This was during rush hour and I’m not trying to spend an additional hour and 15 minutes to my trip. So, it wasn’t Enterprise of Hunt Valley; it was Enterprise of Towson. The Enterprise representative came back; I expected the vehicle and left. The car’s fuel level only had 8 miles until empty. No, gift card are anything to make it right. The crazy about the car theft is that I had a giant 360 revolver baby seat in the back, a phone holder, air fresheners, and custom floor mats in the vehicle. How would the Enterprise representative mistake my 4 series for an X2? Horrible experience and I’m not going back; I hope BMW of Bel Air is better. I have two BMWs and BMW of Towson will never get another cent from me. More
