We apologize for your experience and appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority and have forwarded your concerns to proper management for more information. We always appreciate feedback of any sort, and apologize you were not satisfied with your experience. We have looked into your concerns, and we wanted to clarify a few things for you. The original Manufacturers warranty expires at 4yrs or 50,000 miles, which means the 2013 with 60+k would, unfortunately, be expired. It is the same case with all the manufacturers, and the consumer either has to purchase an additional warranty or assume the risk of repairs after that point. In order to properly diagnose an issue for a customer it requires a technicians time and supplies, which is why there has to be a charge even if the required repairs are declined. Even though BMW was not obligated to do anything based upon the warranty being expired, they did offer a credit over and above any other incentives towards the purchase of another new or CPO BMW, which is definitely not always the case. We know it isn’t a situation that yourself, BMW, or BMW of Toledo want to be in, but we are here to do what we can to make the best of it. If you would like to revisit the credit option with us, we would be more than happy to help!
