We apologize for the inconvenience of the rental age policy. We are subject to the rules as set forth by the insurance company BMW utilizes through the program. The free courtesy inspection done as part of your recall visit may not have shown a coolant leak, if it wasn’t clearly visible. Unfortunately, the courtesy inspection doesn’t include cooling system pressure testing or any disassembly necessary to view the complete system. We hope you can accept our sincere apology and please know that it is never our intention to make any of our customers feel less than satisfied when leaving our dealership.
