1. Still trying to wrap my mind around over $1300 in labor costs for no more than 3-4 hours of work. It’s a shame that labor costs are not actual hours worked but a “calculated” number by the dealership labor costs for no more than 3-4 hours of work. I waited five minutes standing next to two service guys having a conversation with a cute blonde about her day. Finally one guy ran out of the office to ask what I wanted. 3. To add insult, I found my car on my own but realized it had water spots everywhere, so I had to take it directly to the car wash. I brought the car in just for rear brake pad check. Can’t tell if the quality of work is good because it was mostly verification of systems, other than installing a new battery and brake pads. No engine work, no mechanical issues, but $2100 later. I’m done. Going across the street tomorrow . More
Wasn’t too please with my experience. At first it was because I was not able to get a loaner. I understand you have to be 21 and I’m only 20, but with my job I drive all sorts of cars. I’ve driven hellcats and stuff like that. The one thing that really bothered me though was the inspection. They marked everything as good on my car even though I know there is a coolant leak. When I got the paperwork of the inspection back it said nothing about a coolant leak. I was hoping the inspection would show me what’s wrong with my car and why it’s leaking but it didn’t. It almost seemed like they glanced at my car real quick and just said “Good”. Was fairly disappointed with that. More
I came in a week ago so service could look at my car and order the needed parts. When I came in for my appt, the parts had not been ordered. Kyle made sure to order the parts himself this visit, apologize, order the needed parts. When I came in for my appt, the parts had not been ordered. I was flabbergasted by the cost for all the repairs. The service department had the vehicle for one full day. Assuming the technicians take an hour lunch break, they worked approximately 9 hours total on th service department had the vehicle for one full day. Assuming the technicians take an hour lunch break, they worked approximately 9 hours total on the vehicle. Total labor charges were 1975.45 which computes to an hourly labor rate just under 220.00 per hour. Honestly, for this expense, I will need to look elsewhere for my service needs other than warranty work. Yark is just getting too expensive. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2005 and d SS pent a lot of money in the service department over the years with no complaints. More
