I am filing a complaint due in regards to buying a used car from BMW of Toledo. I am a resident of New York State and drove to Ohio (approximately a 10-12 hour drive) in order to pick up a used Mercedes Be car from BMW of Toledo. I am a resident of New York State and drove to Ohio (approximately a 10-12 hour drive) in order to pick up a used Mercedes Benz AMG GT53 from the dealership. After being pre-approved for the car and submitting all of the information to the dealership via phone. I received a car different from what was listed on the advertisement. I purchased the car for $91,999 and was told this vehicle was priced to sell based on the equipment installed/options on the car and the market in the surrounding area. After I agreed and make the trip to Toledo, I picked up the car in which they listed has Burmester High-End 3D Surround Sound System and Wheels: 19 Black AMG Twin 5-Spoke. The price of the Burmester HIGH-END upgrade is $4,550 and the AMG rims advertised in the pictures are $4,150. However, the car does not have the HIGH END sound upgrade, just the standard. I called Mercedes and provided the VIN and was told that there is no HIGH END upgrade package on the car. Additionally, after I drove home (again for 10-12 hours), I learned very quick the rims were NOT Mercedes AMG RIMS. They were aftermarket rims set on the car to "appear" has if they were the AMG rims. There is NO AMG branding on the rims, and I went to Mercedes to confirm that these are not original rims created by Mercedes. After showing serious intent, after purchasing the car, after returning home. The General Manager of BMW of Toledo offered me $250 to help "offset" the false advertisement, which would have actually added $8,000-$10,000 to my vehicles value, but is in fact not included but SOLD as if it was. Originally, there excuse was we are a BMW dealership and not very knowledgeable on Mercedes vehicles. We simply enter the VIN into a system to check what it is on it... They responded "the used car was listed with the with the after market wheels which are visible in the pictures online" but literally in the ad it states Wheels: 19 Black AMG Twin 5-Spoke and additionally, they used aftermarket wheels that look like the original.... they also told me to get a lawyer, so now I am BE AWARE of all dealerships, regardless if they are flagships or not... The people behind these desks will put the reputation of prestigious brands on the line in order to take your hard earn dollars! I dislike leaving one star reviews, it means something went very wrong - Full disclosure, I should have demanded everything stated n conversations be in writing. I also thought I was dealing with a reputable BMW dealership, not a used car place. I located a CPO BMW at this dealership that was fairly priced. I am 500 miles from this dealer. Speaking with the salesperson I confirmed option packages and condition of the car, I received the CPO inspection report as well. I was trading in a car, we agreed to a fair price based on condition and photos. We went back and forth on financing. I was concerned with brakes and tires - Salesperson confirmed the tires were new non-run flat, the brakes are fine as per the CPO report. We both agreed, there is no way you can buy a CPO BMW, drive it 500 miles home and need service. Well the car did in fact have non-run flat performance tires, they are Pirelli, the car originally came with Michelins. Both are non-run flat tires, but the Michelins are almost twice the price. Now the brakes - The pad wear was within tolerance by BMW. However on the way home I did notice brake pulsation - turns out the pads are now at replacement wear, and the rotors are warped. So much for you cant buy a CPO BMW from this dealer and not have a service bill immediately. Financing - I asked about the BMW prefered rate - did not qualify with a high score - ok. I told the salesman there is no- deal at the rate offered. Lower the car price or the rate. HE came back with a rate, and a conversation the was recorded with a finace person. After a drive out there, 4 hours i the dealershp waiting for them, they present a different rate. Now I wored all day, drive all night, got the run around for 4 hours at the dealer when I thought I was just signing and picking up a car. Then the rate has changed, the salesperson then says we may need to revisit the trade in value. Now this is high pressure, used car sales tactics. I was told - but I have no proof. I did sign, with the statement that within 24 hours we can review if there is a problem. Again, words. Exhausted, left the dealer and found a place to sleep for a couple of hours. Reviewing the day, realizing all that had gone wrong. Also realizing how stuck I am, and feeling very taking advantage of. Manipulated by lack of documentation and they knew I was going to be tired when I came in. I took the car to my local BMW dealer - The ( circle BMW freehold NJ) understand their dealership is part of the BMW brand. They made the car correct mechanically. Yes, they did have to charge me for some parts, but took car of warped rotors, rebalancing tires, resetting personalized setting back to factory, a lot of little thing that should have been done prior to delivery to a customer. As far as the financing: I have my notes, I called and stated they did not honor the deal. They asked me for proof - well my bad. They stated they have calls recorded - Great. That was about two weeks ago. They don't return my calls. You can see, I dd not get everything documented prior to my starting the drive to them - That was my failure. They did not document things to me, funny how that works in their favor. I would expect better from a dealership in the BMW brand, you should. More

Every question I had was answered quickly and accurately, and every promise he made was met or exceeded! The finance manager Brandon K. was equally as impressive. He worked with me to understand my needs and to provide me with the car at a great rate and a warranty tailored to my needs. The end result? An amazing car, at a great price and the peace of mind provided by a comprehensive warranty. And a big smile on my face :) I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from BMW of Toledo next time I'm in the market. They certainly earned my business and my appreciation as well! More
