The BEST experience buying a car of my life! I walked into JMK with my son and announced to the salesman, Alex Ramos, that I was a refugee and survivor of Open Road BMW of Morristown. I was looking for a new car but because of my prior experience with Open Road's sales and service departments thought that there was NO WAY I could/would ever deal with BMW again. (which is really sad because I loved my 328i). I only stopped at JMK at the urging of my son and I thought for sure that I would be there for a few minutes and be out. Alex's non-salesy demeanor and professionalism made me stay and kept me interested. He assured me that JMK operated with honesty and integrity and that I had nothing to worry about. I told him what I needed in a new car and what I would be willing to pay, he had my trade in appraised, found me what I was looking for and gave me a payment $40 lower than my current payment. It was as easy as that!!! He was awesome to deal with, very easy going, friendly, funny, knowledgeable, the entire process was a pleasure; it was like we were dealing with a good friend. I met with the Finance Manager, Christopher Diaz and actually had fun finishing up the deal!! Again, it was like dealing with a friend. My experience with Alex, Chris and JMK was so easy and pleasant that I’m still in shock. I have bought many cars over the course of my life and have never had an experience like this before! I have never written a review for anyone before but because of the exceptional professionalism and integrity of Alex Ramos I have no choice. I took a stack of Alex’s cards and my son and I plan on handing them out to everyone we meet. For all the other Open Road refuges JMK is the place to go and Alex is your guy!!!! I'd been looking for a CPO BMW for a few months. Dealt with local dealers in CT and a couple in NJ. Just about fed-up then found a great car (manual transmission, rare color and great options) on the BMW CPO site that was at JMK BMW. I was very wary of fast talking used car dealers but I checked this site and saw JMK's great ratings so I gave them a chance. Glad I did. I called first thing Monday morning and was lucky to get VP as my salesman. We talked about the car -- he checked it over for me and described it in scrupulous detail. Other people were interested, so I gave them a deposit over the phone to hold it. Would have never done that had they not had such great ratings. Went to pick the car up on Thursday. It was better than expected. Washed, perfectly detailed, better than new looking. VP had all the paperwork ready to go, and he along with Brent (Finance Director) got me through the process in world record time. Best ever. Better than that, there were NO surprises. No crazy fees (unlike BMW Morristown that wanted to charge hundreds of dollars in mandatory stupid add-on fees like $90 to wash/detail the car before delivery, VIN etching for $200, etc.). At JMK the numbers were exactly as expected. Now a week later, I like the car better and better every day. JMK BMW is about 120 miles from where I live in CT, but they are so good that I'd probably make the trip again rather than deal with the local dealer who is nowhere near as transparent and honest. So a big thumbs up and endorsement for both VP and for JMK BMW! More
