Staff was very attentive, including people from sales, service and finance. One of the easiest, non stressful car purchases we have ever made and believe me, we have made many over the past 40 years or so. complete mechanical failure - failure to diagose My 328X drive was making a horrific screeching noise at different times and the 'service engine soon' light was illuminated. I left my car with the t My 328X drive was making a horrific screeching noise at different times and the 'service engine soon' light was illuminated. I left my car with the team at Camp BMW for 2 1/2 days. They charged me $160.00 to tell me they could find nothing and the check engine light was from an old code. They then sent me on my way with the car, telling me to come back if something else happens. They were very 'annoyed' when I explained something big was wrong and I needed reliable transportation. I took my car home and parked in the garage for the next 2 days. I had NOT driven 40 miles, when the car completely shut down on me and the coolent light was red hot. I was stranded in the middle of a 4-lane road. yep - there's a big problem here! Turns out the water pump is now dead and the car needed to be towed. Did they not check that during the 2.5 day $160 visit? Once a new pump and thermostat was installed, I owed them another $1300.00. I still do not know if the screeching noise is fixed...... More
