Worst customer experience I have ever had. Scheduled appointment for a recall, only to find out after I had left the dealership that the parts had not actually arrived. I visited this dealership on Monday October 4th, 2010 just to show my wife the 5 series BMW and we ended up leaving with one that very same night. The sale was sponteneous and quick. Mr. Thurmond was very honest, courteous and very helpful. Although, that Monday was his first day at the dealership and he wasn't too familiar with the features of the car we were looking at, he wasn't ashamed to let us know that and he wasn't ashamed to ask someone else to show us everything that we needed to know about that car. If I had to buy another BMW he would definetely be my representative. Overall, everyone I came accross was very courteous at the delearship. When I get delivery of that car it was clean, smelled fresh and the tank was full,to say the least. I was also impressed to receive a call from the sales Manager,a few hours later after I got home, thanking me for my business. Excellent service More
Words cannot express my gratitude. My husband and I are so grateful to have met Amanda Harwood. She has exceptional people skills and took time with us to help us with questions we had. I was going back and forth in my mind about buying a vehicle. I have a vision board with an Orange Mini Cooper on it and because MINI stopped making orange, I put it out of my mind. Months before the purchase I exclaimed to many people that my next vehicle would be blue. So wouldn't you know it, I was blessed with an Oxygen Blue Mini Cooper. Everyone at the South Atlanta dealership was and still are wonderful. Amanda and others have answered even the simplest of questions for me. When my car has been serviced it has always been exceptional. It seems Amanda was born to do this. She literally knows everything Mini and we as customers can feel her passion for her work. Recently my husband and I went to talk to her about the Clubman because we are looking to expand our family thus looking for a larger vehicle. She talked with us and said that when we are ready she would be more than happy to work with us. She is just awesome. We love her, the MINI brand, and South Atlanta. More
We have experienced dealership purchases of Jaguar, Bentley, Audi, BMW, Corvette, Hummer, and many lesser brands over the years and have NEVER had such a positive, pleasurable purchasing experience as Bentley, Audi, BMW, Corvette, Hummer, and many lesser brands over the years and have NEVER had such a positive, pleasurable purchasing experience as that provided by Amanda Harwood. Her professionalism, understanding, and obvious dedication to her product, the MINI, is praiseworthy. She provided complete explanations and demonstrations of the characteristics we could expect with MINI ownership. She made us feel like we were special customers and not just another buyer to process. Her outstanding salesmanship demonstrates the epitome of the finest in automotive sales and she must be a significant asset to those she works for at MINI of South Atlanta. My experience at South Atlanta was a great one. Chris essor was great...our deal was done in the evening and he came back from his home even though the dealership was closing. When I initially called MINI of South Atlanta, I spoke with Amanda. She was extremely helpful and enthusiastic. We scheduled a time for me to come down and test drive and again she was a pleasure. She was every informative and answered all my questions. I had done plenty of research and pretty much knew what I wanted, except for which Model, a basic Cooper convertible or an S convertible. I fell in love with first car that I drove, and bought it that day. I had such a great time with Amanda, that whenever I drop my car off for scheduled service I always make a point to stop in and say Hi. I know that when it is time for me to buy a new MINI or BMW, I will be calling Amanda. More
Friday afternoon I sent in an internet request for information on the mini clubman. A couple of hours later I received an email from Amanda saying she would get right back to me but as of late Saturda information on the mini clubman. I visited the showroom today and was greeted by Vince who turned me over to Mary since he only sales BMW's. Mary was friendly enough until I told her I did not want my license photo copied in order to test drive a mini. (I suppose I listened to too many Clark Howard shows to want to give out my license and deal with the potential problems) She said it was company policy and there was nothing she could do. A quick phone call to Asis at Global Imports let me know they would allow a test drive without photo copying my license. Stopped back by Vince to let him know my disappointment and that I was off to Global. Vince then grabbed a key and took me out for a test drive. Unfortunately he turned me back over to Mary who insisted on having my personal information again just in order to quote me a price on the car including taxes for my county, tags etc! On my way out the door Mary followed yelling at me... A quick call to Asis at Global and I get the "walk out the door price" no problem. Too bad Mini of South Atlanta could not do the same they were actually $150 cheaper and the car was on the lot. Odds are if Vince were selling the mini's I would have drove home in a new car today but I will have to wait a couple of weeks for Global to get mine to GA. As far as I can tell the girls at Mini of South Atlanta have no follow up and no communication skills. They are just there to get your personal information. Very frustrating to deal with them. More
I took delivery of my 2010 Mini Cooper on January 28, 2010 from this dealership. The selection and purchase decision was a smooth one, they have a 21st Century approach to car sales. Having had sales experience of my own and having purchased several new vehicles in my lifetime, I know a good experience from a bad experience. The Motoring King knows her stuff, I have to say. I wanted the Cold weather package since I live in the Northeast also, and even though they didn't have the option in stock, they were able to satisfy my option requests with a Mini that was at sea, in the O2 color and interior. Jason, the sales manager, was also awesome in that he laid out the choices for me and was very professional, They got my car in, did the pre-delivery service and put my car on the showroom floor for delivery. Ms. Ruth Kimble handled the paperwork and was not flustered when I requested them to hold my down payment check for a week! The Mini was delivered with wax, floor mats and a full tank of fuel...I even met my future service advisor, Marty Martino. All in all, a great day in my life. More
Salesperson was knowledgable about the products that he had to offer. Went out of his way to explain different options, and make sure that we found a car that suited our needs.
