Bad BMW customer service! needed rear view mirror checked (was coming loose). Not even advice to repair....only said....it would be very expensive. Not the usual BMW service!!! Even called later & after numerous calls finally talked w/someone who still didn't have a clue! He even said they don't repair BMW mirrors.....well where the heck do you take BMWs if the dealership won't or don't know what to do. Won't be buying anymore BMWs (or services) from this dealership! They SHAME the BMW Name & Brand I found a great 1 owner, clean Carfax BMW 328 with 32,000 miles. I had been in contact with Kourtney for the past 2 weeks, and even communicated via I found a great 1 owner, clean Carfax BMW 328 with 32,000 miles. I had been in contact with Kourtney for the past 2 weeks, and even communicated via email with the sales manager and an account manager. We agreed on a price. I informed Kourtney several times that I would be making the 300 mile trek from Charlotte, NC. I rented a car one way with the intentions of coming back to NC with my like new, pre owned BMW straight from the BMW dealership. I had a check in hand. All "T's" were crossed and all "I's" were dotted. I observed the car before I let her know that I had made it. Do you know that this BEAUTIFUL car had a large scrape on the driver's side of the front bumper. Even worse, this car had a series of significant dents along both doors on the driver's side and a POORLY repaired driver's side fender. The car was POORLY resprayed with paint. It looked liked the previous owner may have run up on a fire hydrant or something. The pictures and description were misleading, with NO mention of this damage that anyone in the world could see. Despite the immaculate Carfax, this vehicle has CLEARLY been wrecked and still in desperate need of repairs. How and WHY would they be allowed to sell this at the BMW dealership in it's current condition? I would expect this from a buy here, pay here lot. I used the restroom and walked through the ENTIRE dealership without a single acknowledgement. This is a BMW dealer. We walked past Kourtney, who looked absolutely NOTHING like the eloquent picture of her in her email signature. She was on the computer playing and did not greet us. After calling her to alert her that I was present, she shows up with a salesman who looked like he was just out of high school on his 3rd day on the job and tries to pawn him off on me. I stopped her dead in her tracks and asked why she did not tell me the car was wrecked before I made arrangements to drive to Atlanta. This lady says that she never looked at the car, and stuck with that as if it was a valid excuse. Seriously? Needless to say, that I ripped into her...I mean who on Earth wants to deal with Atlanta traffic for fun? I called from my cell phone before she made it in and asked to speak with a sales manager. I got his voicemail. I let him know that I was upset. I have received NO apologies, NO emails from the 2 guys AND Kourtney who were previously bombarding me with emails. Today, the cars.com price is about $500 cheaper. Do NOT deal with this POORLY managed dealership. As soon as you pull into the parking lot, you will know that this is a horrible place. What BMW dealership tries to sell a seriously dented up car with a clean carfax? A crooked and poorly managed dealer, that's who. More

BMW sets a suggested price for each part that they sell and BMW of South Atlanta likes to add 30% to 50% on top of that MSRP. This is simply ridiculous. It screws the people who are already in a bind and have to purchase items in an emergency. On saturday I needed to buy a thermostat for my car. The part number for the item has a retail price of $62.38. This is already a grossly overpriced part which can be purchased on-line for $22 if you have time to wait. BMW of South Atlanta charges a whopping $91.07 for this $62 part. I can think of no reason for this thievery except blatant greed by the people that run this facility. This review is written to simply give a heads-up to people who need BMW parts. Don't do a walk-up purchase at this facility. They'll rob you blind. They do offer an on-line discount purchase program that does offer lower prices but you have to plan ahead because these orders aren't always available the same day they're ordered. Mail-order is still the preferred manner to purchase parts it seems. More

They have all the stereotypes: bait & switch tactics, dishonest salespeople, arrogant general manager, etc. I test drove a certified vehicle on Wednesday, but it was a little over my budget and I had other cars to choose from in my price range. The salesman (Vince George), however, continued to push me to come back to the dealer and see the car again and agreed to meet my budget price. He confirmed the purchase price by email on Friday night and said the car would be ready for purchase and pick-up on Saturday morning. Since this dealer is an hour away, I called at 9am on Saturday to ensure that everything was ready. Vince replied, "yes we're ready for you." When I arrive at the dealership an hour later... Vince's opening line is, "we have a bit of an issue... someone else bought your car this morning...but I'm sure we can find you something else you'll like." You're kidding, right? This is a joke? The dealership opened less than an hour ago...and someone came in and purchased it in the last few minutes and is now gone. You emailed me a confirmation after-hours last night and just told me an hour ago the car was detailed and ready to drive away. Obviously, I didn't care for this conversation, so out comes Darren the sales manager and Jason the general manager. They say, "sorry, this is how things are in the used car market. We sold this car 2 days ago (Vince just told me they sold it this morning... so they can't even get their lies straight). But we've got other vehicles you should consider." I ask them, "is this seriously how you do business? Classic bait & switch?" Jason laughs and finds the situation amusing. Needless to say, the conversation went a bit south at this point. I had no interest in dealing with unethical people like this and left immediately. For those in the market... BEWARE of this dealer! Read the other reviews before you waste your time and energy making the trip down here. Stick to more reputable, authorized dealers. More

Excellent Customer Service I had a license plate for the front of the car that I needed help installing. A very kind young man in the sales department took the car to the service department and asked them to install it for me. I wish I knew their names but both he and the service department went above and beyond to help. Denise was exceptionally helpful in explaining the functions of my X1. She was patient and made the functions very easy to use and remember. I left the dealership with a great sense of satisfaction and appreciation. More
