TL;DR If you have any choice, go somewhere else. This dealership is more corrupt than the usual stealership, and the service department is less competent than a high school autoshop class. I would This dealership is more corrupt than the usual stealership, and the service department is less competent than a high school autoshop class. I would have left zero stars if that was an option. I'll start with the service department. I don't know why they bother to make appointments with customers. Even getting the first appointment of the day will result in you waiting for 45 minutes since they have their daily standup meeting starting at 8am. The technicians do not understand anything about electric cars. I took my 330E in with a complaint of much reduced range on the high voltage battery system. They ran a quick test of the low voltage system and declared everything to be fine. The 90 minute appointment turned into an overnight which necessitated a ride home. More to come on that fiasco later. When I picked up the car the next morning and questioned whether they had tested the high voltage batteries they said no. I asked how they could possibly know if there was an issue with the electric drive system then. At this point they rescheduled me for another service visit. I was careful to explain in clear details why I was there and the service writer said he understood. When I got the car back the next day the service writer advised me that the tech was unable to perform the required test of the high voltage system and I was no closer to an answer than I was 2 visits and 5+ hours of my time ago. On the plus side they didn't try to charge me for these visits since they obviously didn't perform the needed service. About that ride home. The service department offers an Uber voucher to get you home. IF, and only IF, you live within their arbitrary 14 mile radius. I was denied a ride on the first service visit because I live 17 miles from the dealership. Oddly, they did get me a ride for the second visit. At this point I gave up on their service and went elsewhere. About their sales team. Do not believe a single word they tell you. Get EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING, in writing. Their sales team is unresponsive, not returning calls or following through on things. Their lease turn-in process is an absolute nightmare. And their general manager will make a deal with you, then decide it is too much (despite telling you that he's willing to take the hand slap that will come from it) and will walk the offer back. He'll end up offering less than half of the original offer. When I complained he said he didn't care, "I get 40 positive reviews for every negative review." As with the service department, we took our business elsewhere. More

You can NEVER, EVER get someone to answer the phone as if they have no power, didn't pay the phone bill, or simply ignoring the calls. It's absurd. I will never purchase a car from this dealership again. More
BMW South Atlanta has somehow managed to go even lower on the scale of common sense and good business practices. This luxury vehicle dealership now charges a service fee when you use your credit card to pay the scale of common sense and good business practices. This luxury vehicle dealership now charges a service fee when you use your credit card to pay for repairs. This is complete madness. The costs to maintain a BMW is already insane, now you’re expected to have $700 cash in your pocket to cover the cost of repairs? This is 2024 not 1974, who has that kind of cash on them in Atlanta? I made a 1 pm appointment for 10/14/2023, on the morning of at 8:30 am I received a text message from Brendon, stating if I would like to come in earlier, please come. I arrive hours early only be there unt of at 8:30 am I received a text message from Brendon, stating if I would like to come in earlier, please come. I arrive hours early only be there until 3:41 pm. When I inquired Brendon told me he could only help one person at a time, I explained you texted me at 8:30 am to arrive early and I did, this is when he informed me customers that arrive on Saturdays for service are first come first service basis, why isn't this being informed when you call and make an appointment and most importantly, why give customers an appointment on Saturday if you are not going to adhere to it. Here is what I was told if you want an appointment make them for a weekday. Here is what I know if a customer is informed of the process than the expectation will be different. Lastly, I have 15,018 miles on my car, why would BMW require a vehicle check for a total of $164.95? Stephanie Brown More
BMW of South Atlanta provided very poor customer service and failed to provide me with the tire warrenty information I requested. I spoke with the Assistant Manager in the Service Department who said that t and failed to provide me with the tire warrenty information I requested. I spoke with the Assistant Manager in the Service Department who said that they did not have any tire warrenty information in writing. My tire was cited to "Need Immediate Attention" after only 10,000 miles and 11 months. I expressed my concern and requested a new tire under the warranty. I was told that there was nothing they could do but that I could file a claim that would probably get rejected. After doing some research I found the warrant information for my tire and it stated that the authorized dealer (BMW of South Atlanta) must submit the claim. After returning back to BMW with this new information I was told I also needed to bring the car back. The Assistant Manager should have told me about the claim process and advised me to leave the car opposed to brushing me off and telling me that there was nothing they could do if it is not road hazard.
