While admittedly based on only one visit, my experience was so overwhemlingly positive - especially compared to ALL of my experiences at VOB BMW in Rockville - that I felt compelled to comment. Tischer par was so overwhemlingly positive - especially compared to ALL of my experiences at VOB BMW in Rockville - that I felt compelled to comment. Tischer parts counter personnel and service writers (sorry if that's not the precise term) were pleasant, engaging, and patient. They greeted me with a smile, looked me in the eye, patiently answered my questions, and said please thank you. They even worked with me a bit on the parts prices. A remarkable experience - probably not except by contrast the the nasty folks at VOB. I would go back in a heartbeat - I only wish I lived or worked closer to Tischer so I could patronize them more often. More
Took 740il in for an intermittant computer problem. I don't go to dealers for regular maintenance. I live close to VOB but refuse to go there after several bad experiences.
Tischer found problem quic don't go to dealers for regular maintenance. I live close to VOB but refuse to go there after several bad experiences.
Tischer found problem quickly and fixed it for less than they quoted. BMW maintenance is never inexpensive, but this cost less than I thought it would be going in, and less than they quoted after they diagnosed the problem. More
I called to make my appointment and had no problems scheduling the service visit. This is when it turns bad!!! They told me my service was covered under warranty (fix leaking windshield washer sprayer) scheduling the service visit. This is when it turns bad!!! They told me my service was covered under warranty (fix leaking windshield washer sprayer), not the cheesy BMW scheduled maintenance policy which is a joke. So when I brought my car in I reference the ‘no charge’ to the tech and he kind of gave me an attitude. When I was called later that day to tell me my car was ready I was a tad irritated when they said $60. I then had to explain to the service manager that I wasn’t going to pay because I was quoted $0, under warranty. We then had a small argument when he said fine, just pick the car up. Okay, so I was pretty agitated, I picked up the car and called the service manager the next day. Guess what, the computer at BMW doesn’t show any work being done and worse yet, my oil started to leak tiny dime size droplets. Kind of a coincident, not sure? Anyhow, I brought it to my local Citgo gas station and with 15 minutes my oil drain screw was tighted back on properly and my windshield washer was working fine. If I had to raise one finger to tell them they were number 1, you know which finger I would raise. Avoid buying a car from Tischer and try not to get service from them unless all other dealerships and local gas stations blow up. More
While better than BMW of Fairfax, VA, still off the mark. Perhaps BMW is not as in high standard as it once was. Dealership is always "backed-up" with service appointments. Had a great experience buying our first BMW. They were very competitive on price and the agent I used was superb. Follow up visits for service were OK (I was expecting much more from BMW) though I didn't very competitive on price and the agent I used was superb. I would rate this #1 dealer in the MD/DC area. The main praise goes to service. I recently had my vehicle checked up for some problems that I've found. Made an appointment, dropped off my car and the next praise goes to service. I recently had my vehicle checked up for some problems that I've found. Made an appointment, dropped off my car and the next day, everything was completed. Unfortunatly, I did not receive a loaner since they needed a 2 week period notice prior to the service made.

The sales department is top notch as well. Very very friendly and deals are great. They treat you well, even if you look like you are just looking around, having no interesnt on purchasing.

The parts department is excellent! Although sometimes it takes the parts ppl few mins to come out , they are very friendly ppl. They have this leniency on prices which is outstanding. Coupons are available on their website for discounted parts and service More
