UPDATE: 09/14/09 After months of waiting and diagnosing, my personal mechanic and I have found the issue. The body shop that did my subframe repair, "MileOne Collision Works" in Beltsville MD, connected my drive shaft completely wrong. It was out of time, over a quarter turn! Even a regular, un-trained folk like me knew it was out of time when seeing the obvious markings on how to align the drive shaft itself! We suspect after driving it unbalanced for so long that it was pretty much toast, and this is after the body shop's refusal to diagnosis and repair their error! Tischer BMW, you as a dealership can be nothing more than fantastic. It is disappointing to know that you are in relations with this body shop. Honestly this was my second time in dealing with MileOne Collision Works - the first time was with our E38 740 which they needed additional months over the deadline to complete the work. Thinking I should give this body shop a second chance was a terrible mistake.
