If you are in the market for a BMW in the DC/MD/VA area I can't recommend highly enough Tischer BMW and especially Kailash Joshi for your salesperson. When doing my car search I visited many other dealerships and salespeople and none compared to the skill and genuine personality that Kailash has. He takes the time to get to know you as a person and best understand your needs. At no time did I ever feel pressure and negotiations was actually a very pleasant experience.. As a side note I had visited another BMW dealer in the Rockville area and the experience was night and day. I had gone there to look at a 5 series wagon since Tischer didn't have one on there lot and the level of pretentiousness I experienced was unbelievable. Yes BMW's are expensive high end cars and yes I might not look the part of a BMW owner some might have in their head but having a salesperson look down their nose at you or give you the impression that you are not worth their time is unbelievable. I remember the first time I met Kailash I hadn't shaved in a few days was wearing an old flannel but yet was treated with the utmost respect and felt like I was encountering an old friend. After negotiating the price of my X5 I met with Joanna who again was a pleasure to deal with. She gave a nice overview of options available to me as far as my new car and was able to find me a great rate for my financing. I had looked into my own financing with my credit union and on-line but Joanna was able to beat anything I could find. As a final note Kailash was able to arrange delivery of my X5 in record time. Less than a month from the day of order I will pick up my new X5 for Performance Center delivery. If you check on-line you will see some people wait as long as three months for delivery of there X5's not the case with Kailash and Tischer. While I would think for the other models of BMW it would take a bit longer since they are made in Germany but it would be worth the wait in order to take a European delivery. I think my next BMW will have to be a 6 Series in order to take advantage of this awesome program BMW offers. Ask Kailash he will fill you in on the details. While the Performance Center is an awesome experience in itself the ability to drive your own BMW on the Autobahn and across Europe sounds incredible. So when you are ready for "The Ultimate Driving Machine" give Kailash a call you won't be disappointed. More

I visited several BMW dealers in the Baltimore-Washington area for about 9 months before I visited Tischer. My experiences were from bad to worse, including being scolded at by one sales manager at a dealer area for about 9 months before I visited Tischer. My experiences were from bad to worse, including being scolded at by one sales manager at a dealer in the Balimore area for the kind of car I drove (it was very old and basic). He also told me that I didn't need an all wheel drive car (which I wanted) because Maryland doesn't have bad winters. My experience at Tischer, however, was terrific. They had several new and pre-owned cars to choose from and their customer service is the very best, from the person greeting you upon entering Tischer to all of the managers and staff. Manny El Baltimy, the sales manager I worked with, is professional, courteous, patient and collegial. He is truly wonderful to work with. There was no pressure whatsoever, no looking at my previous car with dread. Manny answered all of my questions and understood that I needed a day to think things over. I came back the next day and purchased my pre-owned certified 530xi. It looks brand new. Tischer also gave me the best price of any of the dealers I previously visited. I would urge anyone interested in buying a BMW to save yourself some time, go directly to Tischer, and work with Manny El Baltimy. We had a good conversation concerning the car that I was interested in purchasing. When I meet Kevin in person, we hit it off from the very start. After a very extensive test drive, we set in the car and Kevin went over the features of this car with me. He was very professional and extended to me his patience and knowledge of the car. Since he and I are both "car guys," he was the perfect salesman for me. We could have probably talked for many more hours about cars. I was impressed with Joanna McCarthy of the Finance Department for her friendliness and knowledge of the paperwork. She made everything easy.
