The experience here was unequivocally the best experience I have ever had buying a car. When I walked in I was warmly greeted by the receptionist, and while I did have to wait about fifteen minutes for a sa I have ever had buying a car. Immediately following their meeting Kailash came up to me and introduced himself. We sat down and he spent at thirty minutes discussing what I was looking for and what my price limit was. Kailash did an excellent job of asking questions I hadn't even thought of and helping me to decided which of BMW's convertibles was going to be a good fit. After two test drives I knew I wanted a 128i convertible, but the dealer didn't have any in stock that had the options I wanted. Kailash went to work and found one in Pennsylvania. Before I knew it the sales manager had made a call and I was promised the car that evening. The car arrived and was delivered to me just like I hoped. Kailash called me two days later to make sure I didn't have any questions and to see how I liked the car. The best part of the whole experience is I never felt pressured to buy a car or spend more than I wanted. It was a very enjoyable experience and was like car buying ought to be, but frequently isn't. I originally went to Tischer BMW because it was the closest BMW dealer to my house, but now I wouldn't go anywhere else, I am a customer for life. More

I was looking for a very specific BMW. I wanted a 2007 CPO 530i with sports, premium, cold weather packages AND a 6SP manual. Using BMW's own website, I only found a handful of cars IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY CPO 530i with sports, premium, cold weather packages AND a 6SP manual. Using BMW's own website, I only found a handful of cars IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY that met all my requirements and it turned out that Tischer BMW had three of them in stock. Every car I looked at could have been a keeper but I ended up with what I considered the pick of the litter a beautiful Titanium Gray w/ a Black Dakota Leather interior. It is a great car, at a great price and great financing. Tischer was a pleasant place to buy a car - they have a great staff. Finally, I want to give a shout out to my two sales advisors - Jacob and Lonnie - Thanks Guys!!! If you're in the DC Metro area, please consider buying a car at Tischer - I drove all the way from Lorton VA. And look for Lonnie and Jacob. They'll treat you right. More

When I ordered my 2011 328i from the factory, Kailash Joshi informed me of the no cost option of picking up the car at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina. My girlfriend and I just drove my new car home after staying in a wonderful hotel with meals and a full day of re-learning how to drive on a test track with BMW's 3 series (and not mine) all paid for by BMW. It was one of the best days of my life. We were treated like royalty with personal attention, wonderful food, and time on the test track and a tour of the BMW factory that I'll never forget. Besides all that, the car is wonderful. BMW provided an instructor who spent more than 2 hours with me going over every detail. (The car was waiting for me with MD license plates already on the car as Kailash had sent them by FedEx in advance.) The car is everything I'd expected. Thanks again to Kailash for all his help. My next installment will describe my experience with Tischer's service department. That may be a while since the car has no defects and the first oil change is not due till 15,000 miles! I can't thank Kailash enough for bringing this opportunity to my attention. I had been shopping for a 3-series for almost 6 months in the Baltimore area and ultimately traveled 25 miles south to Silver Spring to make my purchase. Kevin was professional and customer focused from the initial emails that we traded on the inventory that I was interested in purchasing. He was avaiable for an appointment when it was convenient for me and was prepared with extremely detailed packets on both cars. We negotiated via email for about a week and was never too aggressive, pushy, or misleading. The final sale process with him and the finance team was also customer focused and efficient. After dealing with several sales people and dealerships in Baltimore, I would highly reccommend Kevin Hemmis and Tischer. It's worth the drive from Baltimore or elsewhere. I was ready to pull the trigger on a new VW GTI until a friend of mine called and suggested I check out this car while I was in the area for a PE exam. Kailash Joshi and Mike Bolgar promptly returned my call and out I was at the dealership. The car was in great condition, everything looked brandnew and I enjoyed the test drive and additional information about the car I didn't know of from Kailash. There was one glitch to the pricing as the certification wasn't included in the internet price. I was disappointed at first but the admitted the mistake and was willing to work with me on the price to my satisfaction and I purchased the car. I highly recommend Kailash Joshi for his straightforward approach and his willingness to make your purchase a pleasant one and Tischer BMW for your next BMW purchase. On a separate note (the numerical rating above don't reflect this),the purchasing experience was great with Joanna at the Finance dept. However, a week after the purchase, I received a declining letter for my financing of the car. I was out of state then and called about 10 times from 9am-3pm on a Wednesday afernoon to get a glimpse of what's going on and had to wait 6 hours for a finance person to return my call, citing he was "busying with other customers". The issue turned out to be a mistake on their part as the finance went through ok. I feel there is a room for improvement on this (aftersale services) and I hope Tischer does something to fix it.
