My experience with BMW Silver Spring was by far superb! I had been in the market for a BMW for a few months, doing my research and when I felt the time was right I decided to visit the dealership on a Saturd had been in the market for a BMW for a few months, doing my research and when I felt the time was right I decided to visit the dealership on a Saturday afternoon. Walking into the dealership I was greeted and then introduced to Lonnie Overby. He was very welcoming, asked me what vehicle I was interested in and we took it from there. As we walked outside to view the vehicle we realized it was 6:30 and the dealership had actually closed at 6:00! However, that did not affect Lonnie's professionalism and customer service. He never made me feel rushed as I asked a hundred questions. He let me test drive the car as long as I needed to become comfortable in the vehicle. About an hour or so later we returned to the lot and he sat down with me to address any additional questions/concerns I had. Throughout the visit I never once felt pressured into making a decision or felt he was giving me the "typical sales pitch" - he answered every question I had, told me to think about it all and that he'd be there should I have any additional questions and would like to take the next steps. Two days Lonnie called me to follow-up and thank me for coming out. We were in communication throughout the day as I told him I was planning to come in and purchase the vehicle. When I arrived to the dealer Lonnie greeted me and we went on another test drive to make sure I was satisfied and comfortable. I knew that was my car! We then went inside and handled all the necessary paperwork....an hour and a half later I drove off in my new ride! I would without a doubt recommend this dealership to anyone that is in the market for a BMW. To top things of as I walked off to get in my new car I was personally thanked by the Sales Director and Client Service Manager. In addition, Johanna McCarthy, Finance Manager is also great. I purchased one of the top of the line BMW from them, a 2014 M6 conv. It is a $130k vehicle hence my expectations were high. Everything went well until they needed to get the car registered. Their vendor made some sort of mistake. All dealerships are alike until there is an issue, that is when you see how good they actually are. Good establishments shine during that time, they tend to take care of their clients and make them loyal clients. Bad ones really make themselves known and internet these days will certainly not help. I am glad to say that Nan came through and resolved the issue for me. She has the leadership, empathy and customer oriented mind that ultimately fixed the issue. I recommend buying from Nan and her team. More
