I leased a 2007 X5 in 2007 and I just purchased a 2010 X5 from Wagner Motors in Shrewsbury. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially my salesperson, Gene Kalp, who is awesome! He kept me infor from Wagner Motors in Shrewsbury. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially my salesperson, Gene Kalp, who is awesome! He kept me informed of cars as they became available and when I decided to purchase a new BMW instead of buying out my lease, he helped me thru the process. Gene is a true professional and he values his referrals. I would recommend Wagner Motors (and Gene Kalp!)to anyone looking for a superior car buying experience! More
Initial encounter was good and the normal sales man doing his job and trying to give you overloaded information. We had few options and choices depending upon our life style and our budget. This sales man his job and trying to give you overloaded information. We had few options and choices depending upon our life style and our budget. This sales man was very pushy and very unclear about the pricing he was offering it seemed like he was in a rush to make the sale. Yes it is true we were there for buying a car but we needed to make sure we are getting the right deal and till today they haven't provided me with the carfax report. I had t pay 40 bucks and buy it online to check if the car is the right one. After the sale was done they had promised to deliver the car at the right time and when i called them no one cam eon the phone and the Alvin the salesman kept forwarding the call to his Manager. However, the business manager Brian is an honest man who will give you the right numbers and tell you everything straight up. I recommend to contact him directly when you need something on the pricing or negotiations. The salesmen are NOT AUTHORIZED to negotiate the price until the Business managers like Brian crunch numbers and give them a green flag. I recommend this dealership if you talk to the right person such as Brian, peter. Be aware of salesmen who dont have much knowledge about their products. More
I have called Wagner service 3 times in the past 3 months. Each time there was no one at the service desk to talk with me. I had to leave my name and number. How can they not staff their service desk months. Each time there was no one at the service desk to talk with me. I had to leave my name and number. How can they not staff their service desk during business hours? When I was finally called back I was told they could give me an appointment in a week - I was due for a check up and had a service light on indicating I needed oil. A week? Really? They offered to see me for the oil, however their service dept isn't open past 5:00. Kinda tough when you work. 1. How can you not have a person at the service desk to answer questions and calls during working hours? 2. A week to get an appointment? 3. I went to another BMW dealer, got an appointment the next day, a free loaner and talked to a live person on the second ring. Kinda sad service, Wagner. Is it really so hard to get it right? More
I bought a 2006 X3 with 27K in 2008. The sales guy said I bought a 2006 X3 with 27K in 2008. The sales guy said I have run flats and 4 new tires. He was adamant about the new tires saying all pre-owned ha I bought a 2006 X3 with 27K in 2008. The sales guy said I have run flats and 4 new tires. He was adamant about the new tires saying all pre-owned has to get them. Well today my tire blew out and come to find out all 4 have to be replaced. I called bmw shrewsbury and said you lied and that another bmw confirmed that they are 05/06 tires. Now I have to pay $1200 to get new tires. Nevermind my safety was at risk since I thought they were new and didnt have to worry about them. Not great service here. Try BMW gallery. I am angry the sales guy pulled a Willy Lohman..... More
Service department marks up part prices nearly 20% above BMW NA's MSRP. Then they give you 10% back as your CCA member discount. Service manager (1 of them) was a little know-it-all kid who tried to dis BMW NA's MSRP. Then they give you 10% back as your CCA member discount. Service manager (1 of them) was a little know-it-all kid who tried to discourage me from telling him what work the car needed, and refused to do any repairs I was requesting ... without charging me a diagnostic fee. Of course, their diagnosis agreed with mine 100% and they did the exact repair (down to the individual parts I specified) I had originally requested. But the service and front desk folks are very very friendly and good natured. More
I had a reasonable sales experience with this dealer but it went down hill from there. I had a service performed and waited in their nice waiting area, all was well so far. Then I was brought out to the it went down hill from there. I had a service performed and waited in their nice waiting area, all was well so far. Then I was brought out to the car, signed the slip etc and went to start car to leave. The battery was dead and it wouldn't turn over. They appologized and said lights must have been on while it was being serviced and brought out a battery charger. I had to waid 20 minutes in the waiting area, and was brought out again. I was handed the keys, walked out and tried to start it. It wouldn't start again, as the key code had been lost when the battery was dead, or something. Service tech came out again, was very appologetic and reprogrammed key to start car. Then I tried to leave and radio wouldn't work, it needed a code, which I did not have. Service tech had to come out again. Finally was able to leave after about an additional hour of screwing around. Can't say I have been back since. I now go to Foreign Motors West. It has been better for service, but I had a bad experience there when trying to buy the car, which is why it was bought at wagner. For other services Wagner gave me a loaner, as I had purchased there, but after that last service, I gave up on them. More
As a 21 year old, I was expecting to be ignored/not taken seriously. Fortunately, this did not happen. I was impressed with the overall experience--from the people to the vehicle. I would recommend this d seriously. Fortunately, this did not happen. I was impressed with the overall experience--from the people to the vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to others. More
I bought a used Audi Allroad from a used car dealer. I then went to Wagner Motors to find out what kind of a place it was figuring I would need to have the car serviced there on occasion. I also went to g then went to Wagner Motors to find out what kind of a place it was figuring I would need to have the car serviced there on occasion. I also went to get a keychain for my wife. I found the place to be unwelcoming and unfriendly. I felt in their way. After waiting more than 10 minutes at the parts window, the parts person went into the back room for several minutes just to see if they had a thermos. Two months later, I set up an appointment. The man on the phone was rude and derisive noting that loaner cars only went to preferred customers who bought their car there. I decided to bring the car to a dealer several towns further away rather than work with a dealer that appeared not to want my business. More
Great dealership - Treats customers with respect. No pressure to buy. No ridiculous upselling. Sensible, mature, practical, and low-key approach. Mark is a terrific CA. Not the best price around, bu pressure to buy. No ridiculous upselling. Sensible, mature, practical, and low-key approach. Mark is a terrific CA. Not the best price around, but the quality of service is well worth the small difference. More
Emailed dealership and did not hear back from them. A couple of days later emailed again. THis time Marc Lisenco emailed back with his number to call. I called him the next day and told him what I was couple of days later emailed again. THis time Marc Lisenco emailed back with his number to call. I called him the next day and told him what I was looking for (a new 550i with various options). He said he would get back to me that day. This was Sept. 28th. I didn't hear from him for over a week so I thought he might have lost my phone number and email address so I emailed him again on October 9th. No response for 2 days so I finally called him and he stated he thought someone was handling this. So again he took down what I was looking for and told me he would get right back to me. Still haven't heard from him as of October 17th and by now its a mute point because I placed an order with Chambers. More
