Broken Promise I had a spoken agreement with an employee about fixing a blinker mechanism. It was part of the big repairs costing $3000, but when I picked up the car I had a spoken agreement with an employee about fixing a blinker mechanism. It was part of the big repairs costing $3000, but when I picked up the car, the agreement that the mechanism would be fixed was not followed through. It was then explained to me that the lightbulb was replaced, not the dysfunctioning blinker. I made it clear that this service to be completed would be a part of the $3000 repair, however I am very disappointed that not only has the job been abandoned, but also the lack of remorse or guilt that the serviceman emoted with his failure to complete the job. More
Other than being ignored, it was okay I arrived at 9:30, right on time for my appointment, was told Seth would be taking care of me. I gathered some items out of the car and went into the lounge to wait, and wait.....and wait some more. No one came, so by 10:05 I went to the desk to inquire and tell them I needed to leave at 10:30. They called someone and I was told Seth called in sick. Really? Why was I assigned to him on arrival? I was then greeted by Fernando, the service manager who checked me in. He asked if I had signed in at the kiosk on arrival. What kiosk, I asked? The greeter, Johnny O did not tell me to do that, and he was the one who told me Seth would take care of me! What? A bit of a slip up in communication and process. Fernando did take good care of me and I was on my way on time. He called at noon and left a message that my car was ready and to just go to the cashiers desk on my return. I came back at 3:30 and did just that. Then no one could find my paperwork, and Fernando was gone. They looked for about ten minutes, finally got it and checked me out. No charge, all under warranty and th3 car was washed clean. All good. Seems BMW Sarasota has a problem with their intake at service and management should look into this. What should be a seamless experience, expected at the BMW level, was not. Clean up your cat, folks! More

Left out I dropped my car at approx 915am. I have the run flat tires and one had a nail in it. I was asked how soon I needed it, knowing I did not have an appo I dropped my car at approx 915am. I have the run flat tires and one had a nail in it. I was asked how soon I needed it, knowing I did not have an appointment, I tried to allow them several hours. I replied, Can you have it ready by 1pm? I have a Dr. appointment at 2pm. My asst service manager said that would be fine since they did have my tire instock. I left and when to my home, approx 3 miles away. At 1pm I was called and told that they were going to change my tire and they car would be ready shortly. I knew my Dr appt was a gonner so I cancelled that . I jogged the 3 miles plus with my two yorkies in a baby jogger knowing that the car would be ready when we completed the run. No such luck. The puppies and I waited and waited and waited. The coordinator , Susan, who was wonderful said she would check on my service manager assistant and my car. This was at 330pm approx. At 400pm I was told the car would be ready in 15 mins. Finally at approx 415pm the auto was ready. A short 7 hours to change a tire. I would understand BUT, the same thing happened a few months earlier with another flat tire. It did not take 7 hours but close. I know I did not purchase my car at this dealership, I moved here about a year ago. I have had 5 BMW's and purchase one approx every 2 to 3 years. I feel like I was put on the shelf because my BMW was purchased elsewhere. Should I even consider my next BMW at all? More

Excellent service on short notice to replace worn tires. Worked with Carlos Munoz. He was extremely helpful finding what our needs were and doing what was necessary to meet them. Annual Check Up From start to finish I was treated like a person of consequence and not one of the multitude. Everything I asked for was checked and taken care of. From start to finish I was treated like a person of consequence and not one of the multitude. Everything I asked for was checked and taken care of. Seth went above and beyond his duty to take care of my questions and wants. The waiting area was full of treats, TV, current newspaper, magazines and interesting people. I gave them a time frame because I had one other appointment that day and I got out in plenty of time to get to where I needed to be. More
