My service advisor John was already great. He was honest, thorough, and communicative. Even when there were unexpected issues, he got me in. He was honest, thorough, and communicative. Even when there were unexpected issues, he got me in. More
Lacking, absentminded, inconsiderate, deaf, ignorant, unknowledgeable, unprofessional, self-serving, delayed, and pretty xxxxx oblivious to their own mistakes; are the words that I would use to truly des unknowledgeable, unprofessional, self-serving, delayed, and pretty xxxxx oblivious to their own mistakes; are the words that I would use to truly describe a majority of the Service Center Staff and the upper management are not far off from them as well. Do not trust a single word that comes out of their mouth because fallow through or even a fair attempt at making things right is not what they do best or even remotely try at doing at all. You may get a call and a very well worded email, but as for all the pointless "words" that are sent...might as well pay a brick wall to be your therapist because you'll actually get something in return. Avoid at all costs in my opinion. Avoid paying for a vehicle-that most had to wait on a waiting list for almost a year, to then have you referred to a auto body repair shop that was not only NOT certified and now seeing that they were not equipped to handle a luxury vehicle, but will flat out lie to you and tell you that your car is "good to go" only to have it shipped and find out that the xxxx door won't shut and now might have to have it totaled out because their referral, BMW or San Francisco's referral show's how inept their service tech are, and to only have the upper management defend that referral by saying - "AW Collision Center is one of the few body shops we trust and refer work to. They are more than capable, and we have never had any trouble with them." Not only are they not certified to handle BMW's after a collision, they specialize in Japanese. NOT EUROPEAN! I walked a few blocks from the actual dealership itself to get a better referral from one of the homeless crack dealers, because at this point...I would have been better off. Save yourself the time and effort. Go to any other, but I mean ANY OTHER, BMW dealership because they will not only rip you off the will not provide or deliver and shirk their work onto you to deal with it yourself. The have a hard time listening and accepting fault and do not like to respond to much and expect BMW North America to make their issues go away. DO YOU HEAR ME NOW, CHRISTIAN MARMALEJO?!!! More
SF Service Center - Chris wanted to charge $1100 for a routine inspection and claimed I had to replace recalled parts. He also conveyed they would not turn off the oil change, brake fluid, and tire pressu routine inspection and claimed I had to replace recalled parts. He also conveyed they would not turn off the oil change, brake fluid, and tire pressure lights even though I had proof of all that being done at the local valvoline. I had received ongoing BMW notifications since I purchased from a Dealer and had received a letter that there is a recall but it did not apply to my specific VIN. FT Lauderdale BMW - is where I purchased and they were awesome, reasonable, not trying to price gauge you on every thing. They even sent me $100 email on this routine maintenance that SF wanted to charge $1100 plus the recall on a major part I don't need - several thousand dollars beware - my BMW coupe 430 has 12k miles on it and purrs, it does not need several thousand dollars of work after being certified a few years ago when I purchased at 7k miles the service quoting guy was European and very rude in all his communication More
Dishonest management, poor service and no communication. They will do whatever it takes not to take responsibility for issues with cars they sell (I was told the part was too expensive for them to repair so They will do whatever it takes not to take responsibility for issues with cars they sell (I was told the part was too expensive for them to repair so they refused several times). The used car manager is rude, disrespectful and dishonest person I’ve ever spoken with. I will NEVER purchase another car (my second BMW) nor will I ever recommend SFBMW to anyone. There’s plenty of BMW Dealerships around that are worthy of your business. Save yourself the frustration and the headache. Look at the pattern of the reviews. Most of them have experienced the same problems with this dealership and you wonder why they don’t correct problem. They don’t care about you as a person; just their bottom line profit. More
