BMW of SF provides great service and timely reminders on my car’s routine maintenance. I also got a courtesy loaner vehicle which is very convenient while they are servicing my car. Handshake deal by 11:30 and then 4 hours of waiting to get through financing only to be told battery light said “replace battery” which they first would take two more hours but then the sales dept rep quickly said “we cannot promise it will even be done today”. Ie sales dept flatly refused to say thy swapping battery would be done at all same day. DAVID STEVENS eventually saved the day by getting things done that the sales department guy simply did not respect us enough to find way to troubleshoot. Thy offered me a ride home or a loaner but, after buying my car which I therefore didn’t own anymore and selling me a new car with no battery, and refusing to commit to a time the battery would be fixed, I was obviously stranded and they were OBVIOUSLY going to give me a ride home or a loaner. I wouldn’t give them credit for that and neither would you. Or I guess undo the deal which would have been an even worse waste of time. But all they needed to do was admit they made a mistake (I had even told them I saw a brake light three hours earlier but they did nothing about it until the last minute) and race to put a new battery in the car and they just would not do it. SFBMW can’t (or won’t) prioritize replacing a battery for a brand new car buyer (especially on they kept waiting for 5+ hours) when they sell a car but discover it had a dead battery before leaving the lot. Either they think that is acceptable service or they don’t. It’s up to them to decide how they want to run their business. DAVID STEVENS, the sales person (not the sales department) was excellent though. The financing person was fast but we were kept waiting for three + hours (plus lots of lies) just to get to financing so I’m giving financing one star. More
BMW of SF service center does not provide free car wash services on Saturday which is bad for people who need to work in the weekdays and only available to bring in the car for services on Saturday. This i services on Saturday which is bad for people who need to work in the weekdays and only available to bring in the car for services on Saturday. This implies that I should bring my car to other BMW dealer who offers free car wash in the weekend. More
