During time of sale, sales person JJ promised several fixes/updates on the vehicle purchased. Unfortunately for my friend she fell victim to a very basic and common sell´s person scam/games; promises, promises, promises to get the sell, yet, they dońt write their promises on legal format: a “Due Bill”. Please note my friend paid cash for her 2018 X5. Didn’t even tried to waste her time playing the hustle game having the sell´s person go back and forth with his manager trying to come up with a good sell´s price. A reasonable sell´s person would have considered helping that type of client by putting promises on a due bill I would think. A note for General Manager Mr. Moorman: Sir, I challenge you to personally reply to my reviews. I want my family, my friends, and members of the public, specially WOMEN, to know about my friend´s experience and never allow BMW staff to think its ok to even look at any woman in a sexual way, let alone touch them. Tomorrow, I will come back with more of the story since my friend as of today´s date, is still waiting for a promised call from Mr. Moorman. It’s been almost a year and my friend still dealing with discrepancies on her vehicle, and horrible customer service. More

There was a time many years ago when BMW of San Diego was a great place to visit for your car and merchandise needs. I used to allow my daughter to take her car on her own while I was out of country at work, but now, I wouldńt dare even consider that. After many weeks reassuring a female friend of mine that BMW of San Diego was the place to go for her new car, she finally agreed, and her new car came with a very disgusting price; Salesman “JJ” believed that putting his nasty hands on her shoulders and around her waist when guiding her through a door or towards the car lot was perfectly ok. Gentlemen: dont send your wives, girlfriends, daughters to BMW of San Diego. When I made the complaint, management were not interested in listening, and when they finally did, they were quick to dismiss the issue stating: “We will handle it internally”. I promised myself not to waste much of my valuable time on this. I will come back with more of the story tomorrow. More
I was charged $4500 for a single throttle body actuator replacement properly identified as failed by the DME computer on my 2011 M3. My BMW dealer in the Bay area told me this should have only been 6 hours replacement properly identified as failed by the DME computer on my 2011 M3. My BMW dealer in the Bay area told me this should have only been 6 hours of labor and $1000 in parts for a total around $2200. I was also misled that both actuators would be replaced and only one was for the $4500 charge. I find BMW of San Diego as incompetent and hope this review helps others to look elsewhere for their BMW service. More
AVOID their Service department – incompetent crooks I’ve had horrible experience (two out of my three visits) at the service department here at BMW of San Diego – Kearny Mesa. They may have the best mechanics in town but I’m sure the customer facing team is the worst. They are dishonest, they lie, straight up shameless people. I guess nice Service advisors do not want to work with them and would end up leaving. Not worth advertising my experience but please be aware they DO NOT take care of your automobile. They are so capable of bringing damage to your vehicle: scratches, dents, scuffs marks are common damages. They will not take any responsibility and would lie in your face. Please inspect your vehicle carefully before drop off. Avoid their complementary car wash (or at any dealer), automatic wash would ruin your car’s body, paint and finish. More
