Chris is my service advisor when i brought my 2014 X3. It’s been a year since i came back at this BMW service center. i came back since this is near my workplace. A few miles far from it. However, I usual It’s been a year since i came back at this BMW service center. i came back since this is near my workplace. A few miles far from it. However, I usually bring my car for service at BMW EL CAJON. There, i feel more at home. BMW San Diego, it feels like i will always get an extra service that i dont need it. That’s what i heard from Chris when he called me after few hours. He told me, i need 3 new tires. I told Chris that i had changed the tires last January 2019. And, he was trying to convince and lectured me about the purpose of having new tires. I didnt follow what he wanted to happened. I feel like that very moment that he sounded very demanding on me purchasing the tires. Anyways, it ended that i didnt get the service check and cabin filter change as he explained that it is not much needed at that time of the service. When i got my car, i saw that the sevice maintenance was still on red...when i started the engine. I asked one of the technician(i didnt get his name), why the red light is on. He replied, “i dont know why. Did you just bring your car for service?” I replied, yes. He then, checked the work paper and he said, you refused the service check, that is what it is showing on your dashboard. I replied, oh ok. I didnt know thag since my service advisor didnt explain the whole process. I left the center with unsatisfied feeling since it wasnt explained the whole process and Chris was on break when i have to pay the service. I dont think, i will come back at this center for my next car service. I can recommend however, i would not give good comments since my experienced wasnt good enough with my expectation. More
Chris Levy in the service department is awesome. He kept me informed about my BMW and didn’t try to push any unnecessary extra work/service (which gave me peace of mind to not have to worry about “the next me informed about my BMW and didn’t try to push any unnecessary extra work/service (which gave me peace of mind to not have to worry about “the next service due”) I always ask for Chris when I need to cone in as he’s trustworthy.
