Quick and easy buying experience. The pre-owned car that we had pre-selected on line was ready and waiting for us when we arrived for our 11:00 appointment. The salesperson, Daisy, went with us to explain the features of the car as we took a test drive. The car was exactly what we were looking for! After working out the financial details, which included a trade-in, we were in the driveway with our "new to us" car. Everything was clearly explained and we left feeling that we had made a good and fair transaction. PS: We are returning to BMW of Salem due to, a large extent, our prior service relationship with Chris Wright. With Chris in charge of service we know that we will be well taken care of. More

He took me on a test drive that allowed for me to get a great feel for the car and what it is capable of. I ran short of time the first day as I have a very packed schedule but he was able to get everything ready for me to come back in the next day to finish the paperwork. Daniel in finance was efficient and thorough which I greatly appreciate! He went over all of my options with me and explained what would be most important in my situation. There was no haggling back and forth with the price of their vehicle and the value of our trade in vehicle. Everything was up front right a way. There was no pressure. An extremely pleasant experience. Even three of the service advisors came out to greet us and support us in our purchase. More

The first experience in Portland left us with questions that put our choice of Model in doubt, however when we arrived for our appointment the car we wanted to see was parked if front and ready to look at not tucked away behind the building. My wife is handicapped after an encounter with a drunk driver it is difficult to shop this was a blessing. Craig Burger our Client Adviser was helpful and had tremendous knowledge of this model (not a BMW) he not only answered our questions about this car but helped us understand what we had seen on our previous experience in Portland. I had a hard time getting my wife to leave the lot that night. The car had just come to them and had not been through their shop or detailed. The next morning we called and made an offer on the car. That evening we signed the papers to get that part taken care of, During the inspection and oil change shop had ordered two new tires that had not arrived and we did not expect the car to be ready for a few days. The next morning we got a call from Jeffery the finance Manager to tell us we had forgotten to sign our down payment check and asked us to stop by, That afternoon when we arrived at the dealership our new vehicle was parked out front detailed with FOUR new tires ready for delivery. The truth is we were not their to buy a new BMW we came for a seven year old used SUV that we have needed for two years. Jeffery helped us with our challenges in finance, Craig treated us like we were buying a 7 Series and was delightful every minute, The new BMW's were beautiful but the selection of very nice used inventory I saw should make this a come and look spot for you. Worth the drive from Beaverton just to be treated well A little history here. I've followed the Service Mgr, Chris Wright from the old Delon to a BMW dealership in Beaverton and thankfully back to Salem. A little history here. I've followed the Service Mgr, Chris Wright from the old Delon to a BMW dealership in Beaverton and thankfully back to Salem. I've purchased two vehicles from Jim Mannheimer and have only purchased from other BMW dealerships when Salem didn't have what I wanted in stock. Recently took in a new to me X5 with OFH gasket leak and VCG leak. I knew it wouldn't be a cheap visit, but it needed to be done and the other BMW dealership much closer to me quoted me about $150 more for the same repairs. While waiting and working on my computer a wonderful young lady approached me and offered their new continental breakfast with fresh pineapple, granola/yogurt and pastry. As noon approached, she again approached and apologized for interrupting me and offered me a variety of catered sandwiches and fresh salads! Needless to say, my vehicle wouldn't be done for the day so I hopped the Cheeriots Express to Wilsonville and my wife picked me up. Kenzie sent me a text the next morning assuring me the vehicle would be done around noon to help me not have to deal with Friday afternoon commute traffic. When my wife and I arrived the car was ready and washed. I was greeted by the receptionist who remembered me from the day before (I'm not sure if she is Erin) and she offered both my wife and I lunch again from a variety of sandwiches and salads. She is so very enthusiastic and a great representation of the kind of people working there. I have no issue at all with the drive especially when we are always treated like truly valued customers. My only 'complaint' would be the limited number of loaner cars available. Dealing with the dealerships in Beaverton and downtown PDX is nowhere near the positive experience of Salem whether it is purchasing a vehicle or getting service performed. More
