I purchased a used 2007 Yukon Denali from BMW of Roseville in March of 2011, for $32,000. By July, before I even needed an Oil Change on the car, I was required to purchase entire new brake system Roseville in March of 2011, for $32,000. By July, before I even needed an Oil Change on the car, I was required to purchase entire new brake system for my car. Roters, pads, etc. $795 for break replacement. In addition, I needed new tires on the car. I am not car savvy, I don't know what to look for in a used car - which is why I went with a "reputable" dealership and a certified pre-owned car. I contacted the sales person who I dealt with and he had the courtesy to return my calls but he had no authority to compensate me. He did pass along the Managers information, Tom Klein and his direct line. I called Tom a number of times and left messages. No response, no call back, nothing. I can only give this dealership the worst rating possible, they sold me a car which was certified pre owned (and an extended warranty) which then required $1800 of repairs between tires and breaks, before I even put 4000 miles on the car. The manager ignored all my calls and would not even acknowledge my complaints. So, bad car, bad customer service = bad dealership. UPDATE: After sending a final email to my initial contact, I received a call back from BMW of Roseville. They have agreed to reimburse me for the break work. I feel this is a very satisfactory result to my complaint. More
The service writer told me i needed alignment on car just bought when I brought it in for a warranty repair. Then when i told them I expected them to pay for it they told me they would measure to see if I bought when I brought it in for a warranty repair. WORST CAR experience Ever!!! Never buy from here. Warranty is horrible, service is even worse. They will try to get you to pay for things that are covered on the warranty. three trips to their shop-2 of which took 8 hours-car wasn't fixed, service lights weren't reset, was told my new tires were worn out, car wasn't washed or properly put back together. I have leased 3 BMW's and this is the first problem. I was being sent letters asking me to bring my vehicle in to be looked at before the end of my lease so I made an appointment. Nasser (Finance Manager) went over checked my car inside and out. He told me it was in GREAT shape and tried to get me into a new vehicle that day. We choose another dealership Acura to lease our next vehicle. Thats when the trouble started we then received a BILL from BMW for over $1300.00 for anything they could come up with. Even after I was told the car was in great shape. Since we were under our milage that was not part of it, but that car was in great shape just like I was told a few weeks earlier. I brought my 2000 Z3 in for service and waited over 5 hours. When the car was delivered to me, the service lights had not been reset and the car had not been washed. When I got home, I immediately called the service dept to find out why the lights had not been reset. I had to leave a message and the call was never returned. I was suspicious of the quality of service, so I brought the car to another dealer and found the service (oil change, etc.) had not been performed. I have also visited this dealer for sales inquiries and they are not your typical high end dealership. They are not straight-forward with pricing and love to play the back and forth negotiation game. The salespersons are extremely immature. I have since gone to the other Sacto area dealership and am extremely happy with both sales and service. More
We took our 2002 BMW 330i in to have the sunshade clips replaced on our moonroof and it was supposed to be covered under the 100,000 mile guardian warranty. They gave my wife a FREE rental car for 2 days replaced on our moonroof and it was supposed to be covered under the 100,000 mile guardian warranty. They gave my wife a FREE rental car for 2 days and filled up the gas with Premium (over half a tank) for free! We got a phone call saying that because the clips are considered to be an interior part of the car and the motor was not broken that the warranty would not cover the clips. We thought that because the warranty didn't cover the clips that we'd have to pay for the rental, but no! They told us to go ahead and keep untill the next day and drop it off. They gave us a quote for $417.00 to fix the clips which I thought was a little high, but hey... it's a BMW. I was awe-struck by the quality of service we received and I love my 330i sport to death and will always be a repeat customer! Also... by the way, I found out that you can easily replace the clips your self. The clips only cost $12 from the BMW Service Store and buy a torques bit from sears and you can replace them yourself in hour! Problem Solved! More
I brought my BMW here and was extremely disappointed in the level of service i received. After three visits to have the exhaust system replaced, they still have not gotten it right and it makes a very lou the level of service i received. On my last visit I tried speaking with a salesman about a new 3 series and was at first ignored. When I finally got the attention of a salesman (there were no other clients around, the salespeople just didn't feel like helping me), I found them to be uninformed regarding their product. I have heard their prices are good, but I could NEVER justify doing business with this company that has no idea what service is and has treated me very poorly. Look somewhere else and do not waste your time with such an unfriendly, unknowledgable, poorly managed business. More
