In 2016 I bought a 2013 BMW 528i (my first used car), and I was sold a 84 month service contract that I was told would cover all services next 7 years (I paid $3,400). This week I went for my early oil change and found out that my service contract will expire next month, and the service contract that I purchases started from when the car was new, and I in reality only have been able to use the contract for 4 years. Lesson learned.. never buy a service contract, unless you drive a lot of miles More
Warranty Claim denied. Engine misfire after 2,000 miles. We purchased a 2009 BMW 328i last August 2019. It had 92,xxx miles when purchased. I was assured that I have a 90 day or 4,000 mile warranty if the car breaks down. Last October 30, 2019 the car started rough. I know it was a misfire. I contacted the dealer and dropped it off the next day for repair. I informed them that it is still under the 90 day or 4,000 mile warranty. The Service Adviser called me that I have engine misfire due to multiple failed ignition coil. She also informed me that my claim was denied since it was caused by a spark plug which was not a listed warranty item. My warranty contract does not show spark plugs as included or excluded item. Also my warranty contract does not show ignition coils as covered warranty item. Pretty much my warranty contract does not show a lot of items covered. My contention is that if they want to be specific on whats covered they also need to be specific on whats excluded because if I was told that spark plugs are excluded I would have requested this replaced or checked prior to purchase. Spark plugs for BMW are recommended by BMW service since owners really have no idea when it should be replaced. I had a 2014 X3 and it was done every 50,000 and I had a 2007 X3 which was done at 90,000 just before my warranty expired. Covered on my warranty are: Engine, Transmission, Electrical, front wheel drive, rear wheel drive, steering, front suspension, rear suspension, air conditioning, hybrid/electrical components, cooling, fuel delivery, safety system, seals and gasket. (each item has a list of components) Exclusions on the warranty are: modifications, abuse, misuse, negligence, collision, manufacturer recall, non covered condition. (explanation and scenario on each line.) I ask them which part of the exclusion applies to me. They said non-covered condition. Spark plugs are part of maintenance. But that exclusion line does not mention anything about maintenance. All they could tell me is that it is not on the listed item as covered warranty. I explained to them that under Electrical it mention distributor and coil. Modern cars don't have Distributor Ignition System but they have Coil on Plug Ignition System. This line should apply to my vehicle. I am still waiting Auto Nation Warranty to respond to me. I have been in contact with the Auto Nation Warranty claim most of the time. The dealership is still undecided on helping me. The car has been in the shop for 7 days. More

Aside from being a low mileage lease return in good condition, it came advertised with the BMW Certified status, as stated on their website and confirmed via Andrew K (SP) and Azzeddin S (CFS) prior to and during the sale. On 6/10/19 I contacted Andrew K. via text and requested an appointment to have some damage that we identified prior to the purchase repaired, and I also mentioned that I could not find the second key fob in the car. Andrew replied saying the car only came with one key and that I would have to purchase the second key from the Parts department. I replied and reminded Andrew that per BMW CPO guidelines, all CPO BMW’s are delivered with 2 master keys / fobs. Andrew replied and said he would talk with David about this and get back to me. The next day, I received a reply from Andrew stating my car is not BMW Certified, it is AutoNation Certified, and therefore not covered by the guidelines of BMW nor does it have the extra year of factory warranty. I replied and requested 100% confirmation this was the case. Andrew said we could discuss and review paperwork when I came in for the promised repair. I drove to the dealership on the 19th to drop the car off for the body work, but instead was introduced to David, a Sales Manager. I explained my situation to him and he assured me the car was not marketed as a BMW Certified pre-owned vehicle, which I disagreed with. He also explained that it can no longer be factory certified. We agreed the only resolution at this point was for him to buy the car back. He said he needed to work on this and asked me to contact him on the 25th . I have sent 2 emails to David and the only response I received was an automated confirmation that my email was opened. This is precisely the level of service I have been provided since I purchased this vehicle. Stay away. More
Great Deal and Customer Service at BMW of Roseville Jason, I purchased my new 3 series (328d) from your dealership last week and have been very pleased. First of all, I communicated and worked w Jason, I purchased my new 3 series (328d) from your dealership last week and have been very pleased. First of all, I communicated and worked with such helpful people along the way; Anna Duguid, Michael Gonzales, Caity Kennedy, and especially Andrew Kammerer and Tom Diefendorf. Each was extremely courteous and professional and made the purchasing experience as painfree as possible. I've been visiting other dealerships in the area, including other BMW dealerships and yours was exceptional. Andrew and Tom went out of their way to go the extra mile. Andrew drove my new car to my home, because I didn't have any other way to get it there. And Tom personally delivered floor mats to my home! Tom Diefendorf made sure I felt good about my purchasing decision! Three years ago I visited the Roseville location and did not have such a great experience. I vowed to never go back. But positive interactions and communication with those listed above and yourself convinced me to give you another try, and I'm glad I did. I'm also very pleased with my purchase and feel I was treated very fairly. As a local education leader, I come into contact with many people in the area, and will highly recommend your dealersip to those I interact with. Thanks again to you and your team for exceptional service and for treating me as a valued customer! More

I was helping my daughter with the purchase of a 2015 BMW. Tom and I spoke on the phone several times before meeting him in person with my daughter. Tom emailed me all the options on the vehicle making sure to include the safety features that were most important to me. Tom would always call me on time for follow up and was genuine in character, unlike the other dealerships I had been dealing with, such as Niello and Mountain View. When my daughter and I came in to meet with Tom Diefendorf, he was patient with my questions, professional and extremely polite. Tom also showed a great deal of knowledge and care, as well as, a good listener to our concerns. Tom Diefendorf made the entire transaction seamless and smooth. He continued to follow up with me after the purchase which gave me true "peace of mind" if we ever needed anything, Tom would be there for us. Tom Diefendorf was easy to do business with, treated me with respect and urgency, kindness and concern. I would highly recommend and refer my family and friends to Tom Diefendorf and Roseville BMW when purchasing a new or used vehicle. More

My 535 i is unreliable $8,300 transmission replacement on my 535i at 75,000 miles with absolutely no recourse whatsoever against Roseville BMW, Niello BMW or BMW of North Am $8,300 transmission replacement on my 535i at 75,000 miles with absolutely no recourse whatsoever against Roseville BMW, Niello BMW or BMW of North America. Not a phone call, note or anything in response after my letters to Roseville BMW. I've owned three BMWs and this will be my last and I will never go to a BMW dealership for service again. With no response BMW cost themselves thousands of dollars. Jim Sacramento More
Never trust any service centers fully I had given my 3 series for a service cause my Rear right tire was loosing its air pressure every Monday. So when I give my vehicle and collected it back, all the tire pressure was at 40 psi instead of recommended 32 psi. I trusted the service engineers and it was my life I had put at risk , when I checked the psi at 40 while driving back home from BMW Roseville. Luckily I checked the TPM to see this discrepancy and drive back immediately to get the tire pressure reduced to the recommended 32 psi. Lost complete trust on BMW as a brand with this error, which could have caused my life. More
