I’ve had three breakdowns in the past two years, twice requiring a tow. Each repair was in the four to five hour range but each time the repair took two or three days. I like my independent shop for most maintenance, but sometimes I can’t get in there and have to go to the dealer. While the dealer does good work, the downtime is much more than my Indy shop. The cost at the dealer is easily 1/3 more and They always find other catastrophic repairs they claim are “needed.” My primary mechanic always dispels those recommendations and gives me reliable advice as to what actually needs repair. Also, the hold times in the phone is unbearable. Is this Covid understaffing? More

We researched the cars we were interested in before going to the dealership and were happy to see they had the cars on the lot that they said they had. We also didn't want to spend a lot of time sitting ins to the dealership and were happy to see they had the cars on the lot that they said they had. I must say that the dealership experience here was bar none the best experience I have had in the last 35+ years of car buying. My interactions with the various people at the dealership during the purchase process were stellar. These guys were friendly, informative, quick, and amenable all without any sales pressure. But for me, it was very evident that these folks are car people first and salesmen second. We spent more time talking about cars in general than we did about buying one of their cars. It’s too bad that not all dealerships hire staff like these guys. Their passion came through and made an otherwise dreadful buying experience truly a pleasure. Car was in for brake pad service. Advisor was excellent to work with, and car was ready when promised. Some right rear brake squeal present at times under light load. Enjoyed the experience immensely! ! I was able to browse, choose, test drive more than one BMW model with the help of Dan Fults. He was so incredibly helpful and accommodating, given ! He was so incredibly helpful and accommodating, given that I started at 6:00 pm, looked at one car, changed my mind, looked at another car, and drove off with a showroom car at like 1:00 in the morning! Unfortunately, my experience at BMW of Roseville has been very poor. I bought a pre-owned 2018 Ford F-150 from them in April 2022 through their partner Autonation. After test driving the truck and being assured by the salesman that it had already been through a full inspection, I purchased it. Within a couple of days of ownership I realized that there were some issues with the truck that were not ever disclosed to me. These issues should’ve been discovered in their so called presale “inspection” - An old mismatch, nearly bald dry rotting tire, a side mirror broken in half internally, windshield wipers that were falling apart (even though the ad specifically said new wipers), etc, all of which are potential safety issues! I realize that some things may slip through the cracks and I’ve been very understanding, but the dealership’s lack of communication and willingness to work with me has been extremely frustrating. I purchased this truck with the assumption that everything was in good condition (as reflected in the price), not expecting to have to spend several hundred dollars right away to fix the things they missed… After sending thorough explanations of these issues and sending multiple photos, I’ve been told the “I’ve passed this along to my manager” line several times, without any attempt from the manager (or anyone else) to actually resolve the problems. The salesman and finance guys were nice during the buying process, but after 3+ weeks of trying to get issues fixed I’ve had enough of the run around. On top of that, their detail department is a joke, they even laughingly agreed with me after two failed attempts at getting the interior decently clean. Like come on guys, you can’t even give the windows a wipe down? Overall, I can’t recommend them to anyone. If they made any attempt to step up and try to make this right I might’ve had a different opinion. Don’t make the same mistake I did! More
