I was very happy with my service at BMW of Rockville. I worked with Jarred, who took care of 75,000 mile service and brake pad replacement I needed. I went to dealer for changing brake fluid because the car dashboard alerted about it. then the service specialist said microfilter needed to be changed as well when I checked in. that was ok. Later, he called me and said he suggested to change battery because it had 4 years though it was still working ok. that was ok as well for me. the job was done in about 2 hours. but when I picked up the car, I found a big scratch on the left front bumper. when I talked to service specialist, he said it was there before I handed the car over. that made me very upset because I was pretty sure it wasn't. I just repaired both front and rear bumper recently and they were new. he even looked all pictures he took when I arrived at service garage and couldn't provide me the evidence (dealer took pictures around the car.) Later he drove the car to inside and did something after I argued with him for several minutes. so, the scratch was covered and not be seen. I am feeling uncomfortable now. One, I know it was a temporary solution and it will come back later. Two, about the words he said the scratch was there before, which I am certain it was not. How can I trust such guy who was not honest. I am a long time customer and has been in this dealership for over 14 years. it is very disappointment. More

Thorough, but ensure you review all 'repairs' especially things you can do yourself. I didn't pre-approve adding windshield washer fluid, and they did it and billed it at a huge markup vs. my replacing it things you can do yourself. So, insist on review of all items, including 'minor' fluids.....such costs can add up quickly here. I discovered grease on my vehicle's carpet after returning home, so will monitor for this next time. The waiting area could be improved. Please, do not have conservative 'news' channels blaring. Mute it, and have it tuned on something neutral that is not disagreeable, like the weather or history channel. I asked 2 employees, and both denied knowing how to turn down the abnoxious TV and change the channel. It made my wait, and that of others in the lounge, much less pleasant than it should have been.
