I visited this location when I was in the Maryland area on April 22nd, 2023 to have my oil changed. They offered to wash my car and when they did there was several scratches put on my passenger door. They on April 22nd, 2023 to have my oil changed. They offered to wash my car and when they did there was several scratches put on my passenger door. They offered to buff them out, however I did explain to them that I was just visiting and was leaving out the next day. I asked if they could set something up for me at the Fayetteville, North Carolina Dealership Service manager said that is something that needed to be worked out with Scott Cascone or Matt Reid. I have called numerous of times and left messages each time and has yet to receive a call back which I fell is very unprofessional. So I am still waiting on a call back from someone so I can get the scratches buffed out of my car door. More
Happy with the services, except for not having received the one requested for the upgrade of an App required in the car system. It sounds strange that a BMW center says they can’t make the upgrade. the one requested for the upgrade of an App required in the car system. This was my first service visit in Rockville BMW. I’ve had 2 BMW X5s in last 13 years in NY. Dealers in NY were courteous, generous, professional. They were just great! In Rockville my visit was for just an oil change. But I was handed over services that would have cost me $400 that included brake fluid change. My X5 has only 38000 M and I don’t use it much so after initially agreeing with it, I changed my mind to just oil change in a matter of 3 minutes. Rockville personnel were Robert Clark and Jamie Rosenzweig. Robert came in late, had a massive ego/attitude problem. Jamie was just non chalant. No hello no greetings. Robert asks me “ why didn’t you think before you signed. Now this cannot be changed so go wait in the waiting room”. This attitudes were instantly unacceptable to me. When I asked for the Manager, Robert said “ that’s not gonna happen” . I’m busy now. I will email the Manager for you. When I turned to Kamie, she was no different. She texted me a video of the mechanics work, where you can barely hear him mumbling”. I called several times to talk to Jamie. She texted me that I will receive all papers from the cashier. She has no time to talk. In NY for 13 years they gave loaner car for whatever services needed, who will p/u my car and then deliver it back after services. Anytime I’ve called I could speak to the person assigned to and the chief mechanic who would explain to me in detail about all work. In Rockville I had a major shock and disappointment! No work ethic, no professionalism, no courtesy. Simply a hostile place. I emailed to Manager, Matt Reid and waiting to hear back. But from the way it looks that probably “ not gonna happen” as Robert have masterfully expressed. I will complain to Consumer Affairs and BBB. If they handle my car then I deserve to speak with live person. Jamie never returned my call. More
Brought in X5, rear hatch not opening and closing properly. I thought there were 4 screws and two were missing. I was able to tighten two, but not 100% tight. I had called to make an appointment, properly. I thought there were 4 screws and two were missing. I was able to tighten two, but not 100% tight. I had called to make an appointment, but never received a return call... so I drove there, hoping they could fix hatch while I waited. Not possible. They paid for Uber home. Few hours later, car fixed. At home I opened the back hatch and still just 2 screws. They just tightened two screws. Total bill $189. Feeling 100% ripped off. More
My current BMW is my fourth BMW that I've owned. I've dealt with many of the area's dealerships when it comes to buying, selling, and most importantly, service. BMW of Rockville is the stand out w I've dealt with many of the area's dealerships when it comes to buying, selling, and most importantly, service. BMW of Rockville is the stand out winner in all areas. They made buying my X7 hassle free and the service is amazing. They have made sure that I receive all the benefits that BMW offers me (free, of course) and has always been upfront about concerns and/or cost of maintenance. I especially love that they give me a loaner when they know they will be keeping the car for more than a day. Thank you, BMW of Rockville, for making my life easy! More
Outstanding service. Joel was amazing. He asked me to ride for a test drive to ensure my problem was fixed. This is my 4th BMW and this has never happened. I drive from Joel was amazing. The service department was first class, better than it had been on previous occasions. My disappointment was because 3 years ago I bought 2 extended service plans for about $3,000 total that I never ever had been on previous occasions. My disappointment was because 3 years ago I bought 2 extended service plans for about $3,000 total that I never ever used, probably because I only put 11,000 miles on the car in those 3 years, I was still under mileage, but the time had expired. I was sold at that time on the idea I would need brakes and the warranty would pay for that work. Now, when I need brakes it will be on me. More
