Beshara Gebara will be forever remembered for giving my nephew a chance. My nephew bought his first car and was extremely nervous and intimidated at walking in to such a BEAUTIFUL building. With the help of Hunter Leighton, he found one. He was thrilled but he knew he didn't have the credit that older more established people have. We were told that they would run a credit check. After a short while a man came toward us with papers in hand. The three of us were glued to our seats with all eyes on Beshara. He said "I am glad you are all sitting down"...of course all of us were deflated. He said 'congratulations...you are going to be broke!" We all screamed! I have never seen my nephew so happy and proud of himself. We will be forever grateful to Beshara and South Shore BMW. More
I had a bad experience in this dealer. I went to this dealer to buy a used car, the salesman Hunter was great and friendly, we started the process. We went over to the financial department, this guy wanted to give a 9% interest rate, i told him no way im taking that rate, and that i wanted something according with my credit score or im walking out of the deal. He simply replied OK. He said there was nothing he could do, and just let me walk out of there. Financial department is a joke and rip off, they will try to go deep in your pocket for that commission. we have a 780credit score. He said we were only approved buy 1 bank which is B.S because i applied for dcu, rockland, quincy CU, they all gave me less then 5% rate. I ended up walking out of the deal and buying with Mercedez of boston. With much lower interest rate. More
1 star is too many, original owner, and dealer serviced regularly at South Shore BMW - 2016 X3 diesel brought in for service on July 13, 2022. I informed the dealer that the car had twice in the last 6 m regularly at South Shore BMW - 2016 X3 diesel brought in for service on July 13, 2022. I informed the dealer that the car had twice in the last 6 months called for "low engine coolant" which was topped off both times - using BMW-compatible coolant. The most recent time was on a 7 hour trip over the 4th of July weekend. I thought it was odd as I have never experienced this with any car - low coolant usually would be a line leaking, radiator leaking, or head gasket -all noticeable odor or performance. Service checked the car, pressure tested it, charged me $200.13 for the service, told me there was an open recall on the car, gave it back to me & said they couldn't find anything wrong. The open recall # 21V-907 is for EGR Cooler. The EGR cooler can develop an internal leak (of engine coolant) which can cause a risk of fire. Well guess what, 9 days later- 7/22/2022, my wife was driving the car on the highway, drivetrain error messages on the dash, reduced power messages on dash, she pulls over to side of road, smoke starts coming from hood, vehicle is on fire. Fire department arrives to put it out, car is totalled. Engine compartment completely destroyed, windshield blew out, 3 windows blew out, fortunately she was not hurt. Within 2 hours of the fire I contacted the dealership & spoke with the service advisor that worked with the last visit. I was instructed to contact BMW corporate & file a claim with them. The contact at corporate insisted I file a claim with my insurance - I told him, this has nothing to do with my insurance. BMW & dealership doing everything possible to avoid taking responsibility. Terrible experience both with corporate & everyone at the dealership. I met with Avery - the dealership GM to ask for help with corporate & and be reimbursed for the $200.13 service bill. I did finally get a check for the $200.13, help with corporate's process never occurred. I tried to paste a picture of the burned up car, but this site will not allow it. If you want this kind of service, you are at the right dealership I'm not sure about the ultimate driving experience, not the 1st or only bmw owned but certainly last. Just like JD Birider (the franchise that sells cars to people with no jobs, South Shore BMW forces its customers to finance through them. They actually refused a cash deal and told us we would need to fin people with no jobs, South Shore BMW forces its customers to finance through them. Oddly enough we purchased a car (cash) from these idiots 18 months ago before the new owner. More
