If you are in the market for a BMW and are lucky enough to have Client Advisor Hunter Leighton you have stumbled across a special human being. Hunter is not what you think of when you think of car salesme to have Client Advisor Hunter Leighton you have stumbled across a special human being. Hunter is not what you think of when you think of car salesmen. He is new to the company yet he is going to go far. His quiet and unassuming demeanor is endearing. He is honest and humble, however, his determination is impressive. We found the car we wanted the same day we came in to inquire. Seeing this was our first time buying a car, having Hunter as our advisor was fun and enjoyable. We walked away very happy, so much so that we brought him champagne when we picked up the car to thank him. All in all it was an awesome experience. South Shore BMW is very lucky to have Hunter in their employ. More
They had my car for two weeks for a recall! Of course they found other issues!! Go figure! Had after market warranty oh sure no problem Supposed to fix the problem oh said warranty only cov Of course they found other issues!! Go figure! Had after market warranty oh sure no problem Supposed to fix the problem oh said warranty only covered 125.00 per hour lie they covered 185.50 per hour charged me extra and did not even finish the job !!! I would not but a hat there trust me be prepared to be xx and now one remembers how convenient! Just shop around trust me unless you want to play the stupid game they are horrible all around More
I brought in my car for scheduled servicing on Oct 18th. Besides the usual service prompts from the BMW Connected app - following multipoint inspection I was told that the drive shaft guibo was cracked and Besides the usual service prompts from the BMW Connected app - following multipoint inspection I was told that the drive shaft guibo was cracked and will need to be replaced. I had brought in my car in AUG at the same dealership and at that time was told by a DIFFERENT service advisor that there was NO URGENCY to get it fixed (they worked on other issues under warranty then). I was told the car would "vibrate" as a warning and that would be an indication that the guibo will need replacement. HOWEVER, this time another service advisor very explicitly informed me that it was essential to have it fixed as otherwise there would be basically no warning before the guibo fully snapped and that would be very dangerous and affect the integrity of the car while driving. So - basically one advisor choses to downplay a problem and the other makes it sound serious enough to be addressed sooner than later. Clearly your staff has to have uniform training (or else at least one is incompetent). I asked to speak w/ the previous advisor - but he was off that day. I then asked to speak w/ the manager but apparently he was out that day too. The service advisor agreed to "take 200 off" the charges and ASSURED me that he will pass on the message to the manager when he's back on Mon to give me a call as I had requested. I went ahead and paid for the service. IT HAS NOW BEEN ALMOST A MONTH W/ NO FOLLOW UP FROM THE MANAGER (just a cursory service follow up call/ email from the staff as usual). NOT A SURPRISE THEN THAT STAFF THERE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND/OR INCOMPETENT. More
