Very uncomfortable racist environment. From the service advisors, to the service manager Thomas toppan and the Gm Avery Trumbo. If you’re a person of color you are not welcome here. Very racist and uncomfortable experience with service advisor Andrew Mcwhorter. He made feel as if I was unworthy of being a customer here, I was rushed and he was just over rude. This is the 5th BMW dealership we have used over the past two decades due to relocation. SOUTHSHORE BMW is by far the worst service dealership experience. Fields BMW In Winter Park, Florida, Kelly BMW in Col two decades due to relocation. SOUTHSHORE BMW is by far the worst service dealership experience. Fields BMW In Winter Park, Florida, Kelly BMW in Columbus, Ohio, North Scottsdale BMW and Arrowhead BMW in Arizona are all excellent BMW dealerships which kept us coming back to BMW. SOUTHSHORE BMW in Rockland, MA runs the business VERY different from what we were accustomed to. It is not a state of the art facility. Every time we bring one of our cars for service, we have a different associate. No one gets to know their clients this way so it is not a personal experience, although our service associate was professional. Washing the car after service does not always happen and when it does, it is a terrible job. There are usually never loaner cars available. Even though I reserved a loaner during scheduling two weeks ahead of time, one was not available. After patiently waiting, I was lucky enough that someone just turned one in, which service promptly issued to me. Although it was a new vehicle, it was covered in road salt, I could not see using the backup camera, and there was crumbled muffin pieces all in the seat leg extension. The least they could have done is clean it with a quick wash and vacuum. Rental car dealers do a better job. This, however did not reflect on the service associate as he does not check the loaner car out. As for the work on the car, I was notified promptly by email and text by the service associate regarding what failed and needed immediate attention for additional service. He also communicated when the car was ready for pickup. No one talks with you when picking up the car, other than the cashier. This has happened during past service as well. The company could greatly benefit from a trip to Arrowhead BMW learn about high tech, state of the art, customer service, or even to Kelly BMW in Columbus who had an outstanding sales and service team under the leadership of Eric Robare and Gordon Rae. Additionally, there should be some privacy between cubicles in the service department at Southshore BMW. Other conversations were too loud and some things should be discussed privately. More
