Zo made time for me, and because of that quality and Care, I returned a week later to lease my 340i M sport. On top of It, he gave me a deal that no dealer could match. Overall great experience. Started Terrible, Getting Better - A work in progress My wife had just completed 16 month of cancer treatments and I was going to buy her a 430i as a present. They did not have what we wanted so we ordere My wife had just completed 16 month of cancer treatments and I was going to buy her a 430i as a present. They did not have what we wanted so we ordered one. The salesman was pretty useless and configuring it the way we wanted so I had to do his job for him. The car took 114 days to arrive and when we went to pick it up, we discovered they had ordered the wrong color. At first they wanted to argue the point but I had my paperwork showing exactly what should have been ordered. Now at this point I would have expected someone in management to come in and apologize and tell us they would make things right. Wrong. We never saw anybody but the salesman. Even though he apologized, he acted as if he expected us to buy the car. Wrong again. I demanded my $5k deposit back. He said he would order a 2018 equipped the same way for the same price, but the two orders he sent me were not equipped the same way (missing 3-5 important items) I had to call BMWUSA and talk to two of their "geniuses". They were very helpful and we managed to spec out the car the way I wanted. I sent the configuration to the dealer but have never heard back. After this review, I received a call from the Director of Operations of Riverside BMW. (Haoie Luc) He was very helpful and tried to find a car with all the items we wanted. He located a nicely loaded 440i that he was willing to give to us for the same price, but it was missing one important feature. (Darn, I do love the 440i) He was unable to find what we wanted so we were back to ordering. He ordered us a well optioned 430i for the original price. Unfortunately this will still result in us only having one car (we had sold my wife's CLK when the first BMW was about 2 weeks out). Our experience dealing with Haoie kept us from going with an Audi and raised our opinion of the dealership overall. Our final rating on the dealership will come after we see how the delivery and purchase process goes. But it is heading in the right direction. More
