Not only did he patiently work with me to meet my needs and find me exactly what I was looking for but for the most part he was very straight forward. Lots of times dealerships have sales people who aggressively try to strong arm you into a deal but this wasn't the case. I would like to thank BMW of Ridgefield and mostly thank Brian for making this expirence joyfull. I am a proud owner of a car I always wanted and I don't belive I would have been done without his superb customer care. Thanks again ! More

The lease on my current car is about to end, so I started the painful task of researching new vehicles. I've been a loyal Audi enthusiast for the past 13 years, and was leaning towards getting another Audi. the painful task of researching new vehicles. I've been a loyal Audi enthusiast for the past 13 years, and was leaning towards getting another Audi. I decided to stop by the BMW of Ridgefield dealership on a whim over the weekend just to see what they had to offer. I was very impressed with the clean and modern appearance of the showroom, as well as the broad selection of vehicles. Client Advisor Brian Barry was the first to approach me. He was very warm and welcoming, and spent several hours with me discussing various options -- he even provided snacks and drinks! Brian allowed me to test drive a new 3 series sedan, and then helped me build the car of my dreams (a gorgeous 2013 328i XDrive/M Sport Package/Estoril Blue). Brian proved to be very friendly, knowledgeable (and patient!), and worked with me and his team (KJ and Hout) until we were able to agree on pricing that fit within my budget. My beautiful new car is currently being built, and I will accept delivery in the Spring. Making the switch to a new brand was a really big decision for me, and I would like to thank Brian, especially, for making it an easy one. I highly recommend Brian Barry and BMW of Ridgefield. More
When walking into the dealership, everyone was very nice and welcoming. Brian Barry was the first to come and ask me what I was looking for, and was quick to answer any questions i had about a specific vehi and welcoming. Last week, I drove a 2013 BMW 328 M SPORT LINE off the lot of Ridgefield BMW, and let me say my experience with this dealer was top notch in all aspects! I’m writing in response to your request for comments after we recently purchased a used car at BMW of Ridgefield. We arrived at the showroom hoping to buy a used car, 2008 Toyota Yaris. We come to find out that the car was manual eventhough it stated automatic online. Brian was very professional a decided to let us know what else it was available. He showed us around and pointed us to several models, such as BMW, Toyota, and Audi to name a few. Eventually, we decided to purchase a 2000 Chevy Prism. During this experience, Brian was outstanding in the courtesy, friendliness, and accommodation he showed us. He exerted no pressure on us and listened with unusual skill to our comments. He handled the negotiations with professionalism for a final price, provided us with drinks and snacks, and sincerely answered all the questions we brought up. All in all, we had a great experience in buying a used Chevy at your dealership. The Chevy is an amazing automobile, and Brian is an outstanding sales representative. The worst. BMW dealers has long been known as being almost aloof, as a testament to the quality of cars they're selling. This is an attribute that a buyer gets comfortable with, a feeling that this dealer doesn't need my business and I have the privilege of doing business with BMW. In contrast, Ridgefield BMW feels like a used car lot on Queens Boulevard, or the real estate offices in Glengarry Glen Ross . My experience... I went to their website, found a car a liked, sent an email. I swear, it was less than five minutes before someone called - not an email response - but called me. Great, right? I'll continue succinctly. I told the salesperson, Carol, that I'd come see the car on Saturday around noon. I was driving 150 miles round-trip, mind you. I called and spoke to Carol at 10:00 AM and confirmed the appointment. I drive to Ridgefield BMW, meet a confused, unprofessional Carol who tells me I can't look at/test drive the car because a deposit was put down on it, drumroll... That very morning! Now this took a contortion of lies to pull off because it couldn't be pulled off... That someone put a deposit on it the day before? That someone - amazingly - between 10:30AM and Noon on this Saturday put down a deposit on it? Or, that to cover either lying or incompetence I was lied to again. In response to this - no apology - but this from Carol: "That's why I wanted you to get here sooner". Yeah, makes no sense. Of course, a dealer that would call back an inquiry in three minutes would likely call to say a deposit has been put down on a car and not to drive 150 miles to see it. Not Carol, and not Ridgefield BMW. Now gets better... Carol wisely stepped away from my seething and fellow named David stepped in. A nice enough guy, knows his s**t, take a couple test drives, etc... Then I see a car I want, like enough to buy, and want to test drive. After waiting a half-hour for David to find keys he returns without them, informing me that not only are the keys missing to this car but the spare key is missing as well. Of course, this points to some weird stuff going on here - a lender to a salesperson? Who knows, but it's fishy and ugly. What's worse, no one here could really care less about any of this. I was there to buy a car, like right there. Anyway, it's a dreadul operation - that's my experience - and worse, there was never a phone call, nothing, apologizing for this experience. I'll never buy a car here and I'll let eveyone know - my sister is a Ridgefield resident - to stay away. More
