BMW of Ridgefield has been one of the best buying experiences I've ever had. There is no other dealership that I can recall, where a dealership is this committed to earning your trust and focusing on your priorities as BMW of Ridgefield. 4 months ago, I contacted Jessica Doling for pre-owned BMW x3. I wanted to purchase one of the x3's they offered, while attending college. Unfortunately, I was away from school and the x3 I favored, was sold. Jessica stayed in contact with me for 4 months, notifying me with updates of their inventory. She was super organized and very professional. I later came in one day unannounced, where I was greeted by a staff of warm welcoming, fun loving people. Jessica, then introduced me salesman, Dan Root. Dan was exceptionally acknowledgeable with the BMW's and the Audi I was checking out. He was very professional, easy going, and pressure less. Dan wasn't pushing any of us, as other salesmen/dealer tries to. He went over everything in detail, giving us a sense of security. He even corrected everything we couldn't do, and carefully reorganized the paperwork together. He then forwarded us to BMW of Ridgefield's Finance Manager (Ozzie, sorry if I spelled that wrong). The finance manager helped us all the way. He was very professional, happy, and understanding. He went over everything clear, and carefully. He was very friendly, and kind hearted just like everyone else here. He even helped us get us a lower rate! This dealership goes the extra mile in fulfilling everything that a great dealership stands for. This dealership offers something truly unique, that is incomparable to your ordinary dealership. I used to work in dealerships in Greenwich, CT in the past, and I could tell the vast difference in quality from this dealership. They especially treat everyone the same, and offers an unique and superior buying experience unlike any other. I will be back, and will inform everyone looking for a car to this dealership. I was searching for a specific used Jetta TDI when I discovered one at BMW of Ridgefield. Personally, I HATE going to used car dealerships and putting up with cheesy salesmen. I wasn't thrilled with the discovered one at BMW of Ridgefield. Personally, I HATE going to used car dealerships and putting up with cheesy salesmen. I wasn't thrilled with the thought of going to a BMW dealership for a used car...but, BMW of Ridgefield changed all of that. The car was priced competitively and was in outstanding condition...the VW was prepared and treated in the same quality of the $110k BMW parked in the showroom. David Quaglio was professional and respectful to me and what I wanted to accomplish. I did not intend to purchase a vehicle when I initially went to BMW of Ridgefield. I had a few other vehicles I was interested in at other dealerships...but, due to the professionalism of BMW of Ridgefield, the quality of the used VW I test drove, and the negotiated price, I was extremely comfortable to agree to purchase the vehicle. David was great to deal with from stepping in the door to leaving with the vehicles (and the follow up contacts to ensure I am happy with the car). If I need another car anytime soon, my first inventory I would check is the BMW of Ridgefield web-site. Thanks David for a great buying experience. More
Brian is an excellent sales person, because he doesn't come across as someone who is 'pushing' you to buy. Instead, he comes across as a good listener; someone who has recently purchased a car (s doesn't come across as someone who is 'pushing' you to buy. Instead, he comes across as a good listener; someone who has recently purchased a car (similar to the one we were interested in) and is enthusiastic about telling you why he likes it! He has a great smile and a good sense of humor. Empathy is the key to all good relationships, and Brian understands how it feels to be a 'buyer' vs. a 'salesman.' Without losing his professionalism, he was able to share some of his own experiences, which made us feel comfortable. He has patience; no matter how many times we asked him to explain something we didn't understand, he did so -- as if he had all the time in the world just for us. Brian has obviously done his homework. We found him both knowledgeable and trustworthy. More

Our Client Advisor, Daniel, was very accommodating, knowledgeable and promptly brought us through the process of acquiring our car. The Manager, Jason, was very understanding and instrumental in presenting the best options for our needs. It was an enjoyable experience and we look forward to buying our next car with Ridgefield BMW. If I had to sum up my experience with the BMW of Ridgefield with one word, it would have to be "indifference". I am genuinely surprised to see such glowing reviews on this site, for my personal expe Ridgefield with one word, it would have to be "indifference". I am genuinely surprised to see such glowing reviews on this site, for my personal experience was more in line with the poor reviews on Yelp, which I feel are more accurate reflection of reality. I went to this dealership to purchase a new BMW 320xi. When I started shopping around, I requested quotes from multiple dealerships, incl this one. Jason responded to my inquiry and I found him to be sharp, yet fairly flexible. However when I went to dealership in person, I was assigned to Brian Barry. Brian couldn't be less interested in me. He didn't seem to know things you'd expect a sales person to know off the top of their head, and had to involve Jason here and there. His overall demeanor was screaming boredom. After 2 hours of dog and pony show, with Brian running "to speak to the manager" (a tired, but not retired tactic of all car salesmen), Jason came back to me with a price I was willing to pay. Papers signed, the car will be delivered in late August (I ordered a 2014 model) and off I go. That was on Saturday. On Monday of next week I called Brian to inquire about a short term lease as I need an extra vehicle for the summer. When I introduced myself to Brian, he sounded totally bewildered and mystified by my persona as if we never met. Not exactly a warm and fuzzy feeling, but I digress. Brian tells me that he will find out whether they have a vehicle I can lease from them for 2-3 months. A week goes by - nothing. I email Jason, hoping he could answer a simple question. Never heard back from to this day. Brian, however, did email me to say that his dealership cannot take a such a loss and offer me a loaner. This isn't even what I was asking for!!!! So I informed Brian that I was looking for a short term lease, not a loaner. Oh, says Brian, let me find out and get back to you. That was in June 15th. Today is June 27th and, needless to say, I have never heard back. Very disappointing experience, to say the least. 6/27/2013 Update - not even 10 minutes after I posted this review, Jason called me. He apologized profusely for not responding to my email. He had followed up with Brian, who assured him he was handling my inquiry (not!!), so Jason considered it case closed. Fair enough. Jason also offered me a possible solution to my extra vehicle problem, and even though his solution doesn't work for me, it's at no fault of Jason's. At least he tried. I also asked for and got the VIN of my future ride and now can track my car being built online.(WHY didn't Brian even mention it was possible and call me when the VIN became available? Something else I had to find out and get on my own...) During our conversation Jason brought up a small detail I only casually mentioned in passing during my visit to the dealership (my upcoming trip abroad), and it was a very nice, personal touch... I no longer felt as a faceless wallet, and that's a big deal. HUGE. While nothing will change my first impression of the BMW of Ridgefield, I have to say that having spoken to Jason made me feel a lot better about the whole experience. Jason is smart, engaging, straighforward and personable. Him personally I highly recommend. 7/31/2013 - UPDATE The saga is over, I took possession of my beauty today. Taking possession had some hiccups and took longer than I expected, yet despite of it, I upgraded my ratings of the dealership, for 2 people, Jason and Patrick, went above and beyond to make things better for me. Patrick is very responsive and knowledgeable, excellent customer service skills. He responded to me within hours even on his days off, provided frequent updates on the current status of the process and stayed on top at all times. Very pleasant and very professional. And I take my hat off to Jason. What a gem he is. BMW of Ridgefield is very lucky to have Jason on their staff. My experience wasn't the smoothest, yet Jason didn't shy away from a problem situation, took challenges head on, found creative ways to address problems and find solutions, and remained friendly and professional as he faced a less than happy customer. I would absolutely do business with Jason and Patrick again. More

I was a bit apprehensive of the entire car buying experience. But thanks to Brian Barry of BMW Ridgefield, this experience was a great one. Brian made the entire process, the test drive, explaining the options to the final delivery, easy. All my questions and emails were answered promptly and to my complete satisfaction. The paper work was hassle free, and I got a great deal on financing. The 5 rating in each category is a no-brainer given the overall experience. I would recommend working with Brian Barry and the BMW of Ridgefield for your next BMW purchase. Note: This review is for a new 535xi. More

James was amazing. I have bought several vehicles from BMW of Ridgefield previously and worked with Bob Mahoney. He was extremely busy the day that I came in and so I had the pleasure of working with Jam BMW of Ridgefield previously and worked with Bob Mahoney. He was extremely busy the day that I came in and so I had the pleasure of working with James. Not that Bob was not great in the past, but working with James was a very different experience. So accommodating, so polite, so willing to go the extra mile ~ Just an overall great great great experience. Clearly I will be back for another BMW, and when I do, I will be going back to James. More
