I recently purchased a 2008 BMW X5. The purchase was smooth and the deal fair. Chad and Joel were easy to work with which made the purchase process and experience even better. I have purchased more than a dozen vehicles over the past 20 years and Chad Wallace is by far the best salesman I have ever dealt with. He is very professional, a straight shooter, and very knowledgable abou 20 years and Chad Wallace is by far the best salesman I have ever dealt with. My experience at BMW of Reading was excellent. I had been in contact with another BMW dealer in the Allentown area to lease another car due to my current lease plan expiring. The sales associate did not make in contact with another BMW dealer in the Allentown area to lease another car due to my current lease plan expiring. The sales associate did not make any effort in finding the car I wanted and did not return my calls. When I did make contact with the sales associate, it seemed as if he did not want to be bothered. I continued my search on the internet to find the exact BMW I wanted and finally found it. Even though that the Allentown dealer was significantly closer to my home, I contacted BMW of Reading and spoke with Calvin about the car. Within an hour, Calvin contacted me with a great lease quote. Today I am driving the car I found on the internet. Calvin had the car delivered to the dealership in 2 days. He also contacted me a few days later to ask if I had any questions about the car. This was the best experience I have had leasing a car. I highly recommend BMW of Reading where you will be treated with respect and sincere customer service. More

WE live in suburban Phila. There are at least 6 BMW dealerships which are closer to us. However, Michelle responded to our email request on the same Sunday as we posted it. Now that's service! It only dealerships which are closer to us. However, Michelle responded to our email request on the same Sunday as we posted it. Now that's service! It only took about 1 hr & 15 minutes to get to Reading and the experience there made it worthwhile for us to take the ride. They were friendly and provided a "no pressure no hassle" experience. Their prices were a bit better than the local dealerships, and they were willing to work with us in order to get the deal done. My only observation is that this is a smaller (not as fancy) dealership than you would find in the Phila area. They appear to have less inventory than at the larger local dealerships. However they have enough of a selection that you should be able to find a car that fits your needs and budget. WE highly recommend BMW of Reading as a worth your while buying experience. More
We live out of state so we took delivery at the BMW Performance Center in Greenville, S.C. I would highly recommend that option and you can take delivery of any BMW there. All transactions were conducted via email, phone and UPS. However, I have to say the entire process went very smoothly and we were kept well informed as to the status of our transaction. Pricing was very aggressive and the dealer followed up on commitments. While offered, I did not feel pressured to purhcase additional warranties. Calvin and Joel appear to work well as a team. I will reach out to them again next time I purchase a BMW. More

As we were waiting to take delivery on our car, there was another couple that we met. This couple was from Devon Hill. As we talked I found out that she and her husband orginally went to Devon Hill BMW and were very disappointed with their service and the fact that they were not willing to work with them. She told me that when she first came to look she was also very impressed with the number of vehicles and the customer service. She also had Chad as her sales person. She as my husband and I were pleased with Chad and Joel. More
My husband found a car listed as used in EXCELLENT condition and we did our research on the dealership to be sure that we could trust them. We live in a different state and had to pay a transport com condition and we did our research on the dealership to be sure that we could trust them. We live in a different state and had to pay a transport company to get it to us. We found out on delivery of the car that it had to be jump started to get it onto the truck and the rear window duck taped because it would not stay up. The driver had to jump the car again to get it off of the truck. We took it immediately to our family mechanic and found that there was a piece of carpet in the engine!!! Yes, carpet to soak up the oil! It needs more work to it than we paid for the car and when we showed Phil the detailed list from our mechanic he told me he couldn't do anything about it because we bought it as is. We bought a car for a price we thought was fair as it was advertised in excellent condition, but even poor condition has a mechanically functional engine. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Their solution was for me to pay to ship it back and they would refund me the money after they inspected the car. How am I suppose to trust them after what they sold me? Please, make sure you do not trust a dealer just because a majority of their reviews are good! It could be the biggest headache of your life! More
I have contacted this dealer several times by email regarding two separate vehicles and they have not responded at all, which i find very odd given that all other BMW dealerships that i have been deali regarding two separate vehicles and they have not responded at all, which i find very odd given that all other BMW dealerships that i have been dealing with in my search for another BMW have been immediately responsive. i did get a response when i actually called the dealership, and the sales person actually talked me out of buying a particular car, noting that there was front and rear bumper damage that was not noted in the glowing description of it on their website--which was helpful in deciding NOT to drive over two hours to get there. But then my question would be why they would not either a) just fix the damage; or b) be truthful in their advertising and indicate the damage in word and picture. With all the other BMW dealerships out there, this appears to be one to stay away from. More
