We purchased our vehicle there in 1988 and have taken it for service there religiously. When the car cut off, it was towed. A hose was replaced., the cost $168!!!. The tow was free with AAA. $34 for hose, for service there religiously. When the car cut off, it was towed. A hose was replaced., the cost $168!!!. The tow was free with AAA. $34 for hose, $80 diagnostic, $40 labor, $12 shop fee. I called an voiced my concerns and
was informed that they have a minimum of $80 no matter what the repair, one spark plug or anything because the vehicle must be put on the computer.
They just lost a new vehicle sale to replace this vehicle. I voiced my concern about this excessive charge, but they would not budge.
i will avoid this property in the future and have advised my friends as well. More
After a bad experience at Leith in 1983 (yeah, I've got a long memory :-) ), I was reluctant to do business with them; however, the guys at Leith BMW service have been fantastic to deal with. The service ad long memory :-) ), I was reluctant to do business with them; however, the guys at Leith BMW service have been fantastic to deal with. The service advisor, Mick, has been wonderful to deal with in during my search for a 2001 M5, helping me out with service history reports, etc. After getting the car, they serviced a few things perfectly, pointed out some information I didn't know about the car, and checked it over completely. I was very pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of Mick, Ken (shop foreman) and the tech who was working on the car (sorry I don't remember his name, but I will find out). I'm happy that I have a comfortable home for service at Leith now as I'm also going to be taking my 2002 540i there for service also. Highly recommended. More
I bought my wife's 330Cic from Sean in sales. Before the sale, we walked in off the street in her old Mitsubishi Eclipse and not dressed particularly nice. Shorts, t-shirt, sneakers. Sean treated us like sale, we walked in off the street in her old Mitsubishi Eclipse and not dressed particularly nice. Shorts, t-shirt, sneakers. Sean treated us like the most important customer there. Let us test drive anything we wanted, gave us all the possible information we could possibly ask for, and was very nice and down to earth. We ended up ordering a brand new car from the factory and he kept us up to date on it all the time, then called us as soon as it came in. When it was time to pay, my CCA membership had only been in effect for just less than 1 year (the required timeframe to obtain your $500 refund). Rather than making me wait another 3-4 weeks until that took effect, he and his sales manager actually discounted the car another $500!! Unbelievable, but true. That really got kudos in my book. They already knew we were buying the car, and could have sold it for sticker price to anyone off the street (this was early summer after all) but still decided to keep us happy and go above and beyond.

Service on my 2001 M5, which I bought just last month from Gallery BMW in Norwood, MA, was also great. They covered everything that was wrong and even called Gallery to get them to agree to foot the bill for a few things that SHOULD have been caught during the CPO inspection but weren't. The service manager, Kelly, was the one who offered to do this and I believe that was very good customer service. Everyone is very friendly, and if you schedule in advance they'll give you a loaner car.
More
