Out of town purchase We live in Charlotte and could not find the right vehicle for our son locally. We drove to Raleigh to look at a few possibilities we saw online. Extrodinary Well I must say we had just started our car shopping. We are coming out of a Q7 and had a few different vehicles on the shopping list. I wanted a used X6 and saw that there was on Autotrader and decided to visit the location. Upon arrival I was greeted by John Draz. I put up my salesman barrier and focused on the Grey X6 but there was a couple looking at the same car I saw on the Internet, oh no, well I said if it’s not meant to be it’s not meant to be. Then I saw another X6; White With the Red interior OMG, that’s the color, John said well that’s a new vehicle; we don’t have any other Used X6s . John said I will check our inventory just to be sure we have many sister store. I was reluctant at first but then decided to listen. I stated “John if that couple doesn’t purchase that grey X6 it’s mine. I said but just in case run the numbers on both vehicles ; Grey unit to purchase and the White to lease. While waiting in the parking lot for our test drive a gent came up to my wife and I and complimented us on how well behaved our sons where as they where inside having a Donut and a beverage, later I would learn who that gent was. I turned back to John and he was ready for Test drive , yes he put me in the New White X6. Test Drive AMAZING; once it was over I said “ hey John let’s see where I would be with a payment on this one ( he don’t judge me a guy can dream). John said no problem and started the numbers on the 2018 X6 and to no surprise the cost was at my ceiling. Well ok no problem I said let’s go for the 2015 Grey X6! In a blink of an eye the same gent that was talking to me in the Parkinglot about my sons came over and was very apologetic and explained the Grey X6 had just went under contract, I must say I didn’t like this man very much!!! . Well that’s that and I was headed out. John turned and apologized and asked what about the new unit; I laughed on the inside thinking this was going to be out of my reach; but I said, in a calm voice, “ what about it ? The payment double what I expected to spend” !! . John quickly asked where do I need to be in payments and went to discussed with his Sales manger. Well out of no where the same. Gent that told me the 15’ X6 was sold was entering Johns cubical ??? This gent was Juan Haire the Sales Mgr !!! I put up my barrier again; I was upset on the inside, here the same man who complimented me on my sons; smiled with me talked football with took my dream away from me was here once again to stab me in my heart. Well that wasn’t the case at all. He said I’m going to work with you; you are getting your truck today??? He took my number and worked with it in a very reasonable away. Wow all of a sudden I like these guys. But I couldn’t show it so I kept my game face on. I didn’t matter though because Juan just kept making the deal more and more attractive; I held it as much as I could but couldn’t anymore I smiled and said you got a deal. I know I got a little winded in my story but I wanted you to get the true feeling of what I felt. I was buying my wife a new family vehicle and John and Juan made this a painless, amazing most awesome transaction that I have ever had.
