Helpful - nope. Friendly - nope. When working with BMW, you expect exceptional customer service. The service rep, Jennifer, was not helpful or friendly. She would provide half answers and acted as though servicing the car was a major inconvenience. Isn't servicing cars what keeps the service department in business? If you don't like servicing customers...maybe you should consider a different job? More
How to loose money and get nothing I took my 2007 750i BMW to service because I needed to go to Orlando with my kids. Since the odometer turned 100miles it was time for service. The car I took my 2007 750i BMW to service because I needed to go to Orlando with my kids. Since the odometer turned 100miles it was time for service. The car was apparently with some electric problem, I thought at the time, because two windows, hot air and automatic AC stopped working at the same time. Therefore, I asked them to check those items for me. They said they would need to charge me almost USD 200 to make the diagnoses!!! So I got only the revision. After two days and USD 1,400 the car was ready for pick up and I headed Orlando in the next morning after pick up. Two hours on the Turnpike and the car suddenly stopped working. It was scaring because I was going with the flow in a high speed and the car stopped responding, no accelerator, nothing despite being on. I was a nightmare to arrive back home and our Orlando trip didn't happened at the end! The dealer Vista said this event had nothing with the revision of the car. I didn't bought but accepted to pay the USD 200 to get a diagnostic for the new problem and the old ones. Anyway I told them again that I was convinced we had a electric problem, that it wasn't a mechanic issue. They called after a day saying that they couldn't identify what was happening because the computer showed to many events at the same time and that they would "try" to fix it, no warranties, for more USD 4,400!!! I got really disappointed and mad. I didn't accept the value and went to pick up my car. I parked it in a garage and rented another car. I found a BMW specialist in the Internet and wrote all this history to him and send to him the car computer records. It was very easy to see that, and it was the first thing I noticed and said to Vista service when I arrived at the dealer, the Voltage going out of the battery was correct, but the Voltage arriving in the models was lower. The BMW specialist asked me to buy and change the module that regulates the Voltage. It cost me USD 100 and 5 minutes to change it in the car!! Everything was "magically" working properly again, including windows, AC and hot air!!!! Vista specialist told me that my car wasn't working because: "Hey! What do you expect of a 100 miles car?" I replied:"So, you're saying to me that BMW last only 100 miles?" He answered: "Yes, this is why it is smarter to lease cars instead of buying them!" And I was called "not smart"! More

Its been one heck of a ride with vista BMW Pompano Beach... Lets skip the pleasantries and get to it... Dec 31 13 I bought a bad xxx 328 msport ... At the time there was a spot of bird dump that burne Beach... Lets skip the pleasantries and get to it... Dec 31 13 I bought a bad xxx 328 msport ... At the time there was a spot of bird dump that burned threw the clear coat which they assured me they would fix... I then took the car in on the 25th of jan to show service this spot, another possible spot which Thanx it was just glue, and the infamous seal leak on the driver side door... Service washed the car to take a better look at these spots and in the process damage both my front rims . I made an appointment to bring my car in on the following tuesday jan 28th when they assured me there would be a loaner which to my surprise there wasnt and again got the run around also attempt to be shiped into a rental car with a surprise fee which I declined and got shipped back to the dealer where I then made another appointment to come back when a loaner was available and that was that. 1 week later after 8 calls to the dealer I finally got a loaner. Today Feb 19th the dealer calls and says its ready. Upon further inspection they have now grinded down the wheels " Damage is still visibly clear " and have now compromised the wheels structure and appearence. Upon further review both mirrors are damage and they damage my clear rock protector on my mirrors. I dont want any fixes I want my new parts. Until then I will continue to slam u every minute of the day until I get complete customer satifaction... 100%++++ More

First, this dealer and poor service advisor, Mike Welch, should get a ZERO, but the scale was 1-5... I had the worst dealer service you could ever expect. I had an appointment for a bad headlight on a b should get a ZERO, but the scale was 1-5... I had the worst dealer service you could ever expect. I had an appointment for a bad headlight on a brand new 530i that had been experiencing condensation in the light bulb. You would think "Ok just change the bulb, the seal must be broken." The kid said "Oh, I don't see any condensation now, we won't fix it." Also, my bluetooth quit working. I had an appointment for 9 am to fix it that day (had to leave my cell phone with the car). Told me they had over booked and they would need 2 days....Isn't that why you schedule appointments? Regardless, I left upset that I wasted my time going there for no reason. Neither the dealer manager or service manager returned calls. More

Unresponsive, unhelpful. I don't recommend anybody to buy a BMW if they have to go through these guys... Especially after the initiall warranty expires you will be throwing your money into thrash if you have a BMW if they have to go through these guys... Especially after the initiall warranty expires you will be throwing your money into thrash if you have to deal with extended warranty even if you buy it from themselves. They won't try to help you at all... Leaving messages and waiting them to return your call? Forget it, never will happen... More
I took my 2001 740iL to Vista BMW for its 60,000 mile service II and key memory re-programming. There were no problems with the vehicle at the time of drop-off. I received a call the next day informing m service II and key memory re-programming. There were no problems with the vehicle at the time of drop-off. I received a call the next day informing me that the alternator light was on and the A/C is leaking refrigerant from a high pressure line and would I like these items repaired at a cost of approximately $4,000. If there really had been a leak in a high pressure A/C line, the refrigerant would have escaped in a matter of minutes/hours and been immediately apparent. Keep in mind, this is a BLACK vehicle in South Florida still covered by warranty, any problem with the A/C would have been the first thing it was taken in to be serviced for. Now the A/C is inoperative and the battery light remains on. After 17 days, Vista BMW’s service department states “they cannot find the cause of the problem, have no estimate on a time frame for repair completion, no repair cost estimate, and have come up with no plan for a resolution to this situation”. Daily phone calls to Vista BMW’s General Manager, and/or service department requesting status updates have gone un-returned. At this point, I've notified the extended warranty company that any repair work submitted by Vista BMW is likely fraudulent and should be investigated. Now I have been forced to escalate this situation to BMWNA requesting their assistance with Vista BMW’s questionable business/service practices. If BMWNA is unable to help, litigation is the last step. Unbelievable as it sounds, all of this was brought on by my dropping the vehicle off for its $976.00 oil change. The 60,000 mile inspection II service was paid in cash ($976.00) at the end of week one. Yesterday, during a visit to the dealership the vehicle could not be located on-site; it would appear they have loaned the vehicle out, wrecked and/or damaged the vehicle, or removed ‘hard to acquire repair parts’ to repair another vehicle. At this point, whatever the resolution I have no confidence in the quality of the work performed and have reason to believe the service work supposedly performed, billed, and paid for was ever really performed or necessary. It is of no surprise after reading the comments on this site and my experiences with Vista BMW that the shop appears to have very few, if any other service jobs being performed and a completely empty customer lounge/waiting room. This has been the most frustrating automobile experience I have had in nearly thirty years of driving and dealing with vehicles. More
