This is the worst car dealer for service. We’ve been servicing our car at other dealer in Chicago Area since we owned it in 2015. When we moved to Peoria we had to deal with this dealer twice. First servicing our car at other dealer in Chicago Area since we owned it in 2015. When we moved to Peoria we had to deal with this dealer twice. First, We had to go when car notified us for low engine oil level. They added the oil and when we went to pickup the car the engine hood sensor start alerting that the hood is still open. We asked the adviser to check it he said he has no time we should schedule another appointment which the first available in two weeks! So we had to take it to outside shop to replace the hood latch. Second happened last week, we wen for routine service for engine and break oils. They performed both services but they didn’t clear the break fluid service from the car computer because we didn’t accept to replace cabin’s Micro filter What does Air filter has to do breaks service?! and air filters for $300! I thought it’s service advisor issue but I spoke with his supervisor and he didn’t care. Bottom line, If you love in Peoria don’t own BMW! . More

Ironically, all the negative reviews of this dealer ship are focused on Woody. It appears that dishonesty and misleading people is Woody's motif. Except for November 9th to 1tth, 2017 when he got all his FaceBook friends to write positive reviews. He must have been in trouble! Woody wasted 6 hours of our time on Saturday. My wife, my 1 year old, my 4 year old, and me. 6 hours! We had reached an agreement and signed a purchase offer and they kept us waiting another couple of hours. In the interim plates were transferred and at the dealer's direction, all our stuff was transferred from our Q5 to what we thought was our new (used) Q7. 5 hours after we've been there Woody comes up to us and says "there is no way around this. I can't sell you that car". His "story" was that he had agreed to sell us the incorrect vehicle. They have 2 of them for sale currently. This is the sales manager, not a rep. Immediately after not accepting any accountability whatsoever for his mistake, he lied to us again. The sales rep Jim did not make a mistake, and the business manager caught Woody's mistake. Woody made the mistake. Woody would not accept accountability. He then has the gall to tell us that he's $4k under on the deal. As we get up to walk out, he changes his story and tells us he's $2k under and will sell it to us for $2k more. What's even more important about this story is that our offer to buy and trade were both well within the KBB range for the Q7 and our trade. This guy is a liar and a crook, and every single other review that mentions his name reflects the same. I will happily send everyone I know to any other dealer. Regardless of what car they want to buy, I will make sure they do not go to a Sam Leman dealership of any kind. Bad culture. And please read all the reviews out there on Yelp and Dealer Rater and elsewhere about "Woody". Similar experiences everywhere. More

I’m very disappointed with the Service Department at the Peoria Dealership! I had 3 recalls(two were for the Airbags, one of which could cause death if deployed!) for my 2007 BMW X3 and they couldn’t get m Peoria Dealership! I had 3 recalls(two were for the Airbags, one of which could cause death if deployed!) for my 2007 BMW X3 and they couldn’t get me in for like two weeks! When they finally got it in, they couldn’t get to it for another few days! (It sat in lot) It took them a week and offered NO loaner for me! My Airbag light is still on! They said it’s prob another issue!!! Really? They lost my business for future purchases! More
Woody the sales manager is a total liar I bought a used car from another state. The salesman told me it was in amazing running condition and one of the nicest used cars he had seen. I assuming this place thoroughly checks any vehicle they are selling used for proper running condition bought it. I received the car and drove it home. I immediately noticed the brakes were loud, harsh and weak. I noticed a smell of exhaust in the cabin. I noticed the steering was loose. I took it to my mechanic who looked it thoroughly over and said the brakes were all literally metal on metal with no pad left, the front calipers had seized pistons, the exhaust manifold was leaking, the steering rack was leaking and needed to be replaced also. I was looking at over $2500 in repairs and put 25 miles on the car which I was told by BMW of Peoria was in great running condition with no issues. I called Woody and he simply said you bought it as is so good luck to you. What kind of car dealer dwells a used car that someone like I did might be putting children in? This place is a shameless dealership and reminds me of the book I read my children called Matilda who’s father sells unsafe vehicles with no care for the buyers safety or wallet. Buy elsewhere no matter what if you want a reliable safe used car the day you buy it. More
They stole my X5 Took my 2010 X5 in for service. Diesel engine in limp mode. Mechanics are unable to determine error codes so they just start replacing parts. Step 1 C Took my 2010 X5 in for service. Diesel engine in limp mode. Mechanics are unable to determine error codes so they just start replacing parts. Step 1 Charge $200 to diagnose the problem. Can find anything wrong. Step 2 remove and drain gas tank $1200. That didn't work. Step 3 tear down engine replace swirl valves $1400. That didn't work. Step 3 Clean ERG valve and clean injectors $650. That didn't work. Step 4 walk away from it for a week. Step 5 actually find the problem. Clogged catalytic converter $4500. So It took them 16 days to rack up nearly $8000 in repairs on a $11,000 vehicle. I was not going to pay that much for that vehicle. They happily gave me $4000 for the car. I saw it the next week for sale on their website for $14000. STOLEN More
