BMW of Ocala did some service on our vintage Z3 and as part of the service they kept the car in their custody and on their dealership property for several weeks. When we picked the vehicle up the entire p part of the service they kept the car in their custody and on their dealership property for several weeks. When we picked the vehicle up the entire painted surface of the car was destroyed. It appears there was some chemical overspray or possibly a large sugary carbonated soda that was sprayed on it (dropped soda). Prior to turning the vehicle over to BMW Ocala there was not a single blemish on the vehicle. Robb Cole, Service Manager, apologized and offered to polish out the defects. When he discovered that they were unable to buff out the defects and that the spill ate into and dissolved the paint he quickly did an about face and tried to distance himself from the problem. Instead of taking ownership of the problem they caused and making it right he began to deflect the blame anywhere he could. He even went so far as to call my wife and I liars. This was followed by some nasty emails from him and at one point he asked that we sign a document agreeing not to pursue the issue and hold BMW harmless in the case. Robb Cole is a deceitful and fraudulent Service Manager who will happily over-charge you and take your money with no regard for customer service. I brought this issue to the attention of Bobby Watts, the location GM but he had no interest in resolving the matter. There is a culture of incompetence and hate at this dealership. BMW of Ocala is a terrible neighbor in the community and could care less about their reputation or their customers. I now have to have the entire car repainted at my expense ($3,300). I will be lobbying all members (100+) of The Villages Z Club to avoid this dealership for service or sales. Customer's beware if you have your vehicles serviced here. It may cost you more than you know including having to hire a lawyer. I gave one star only because I was not allowed to leave zero. More
I was driving back home to Miami from Tallahassee on I-75 when a big truck blew a tire right in front of me sending a huge piece of the tire right into my car. It pushed a piece of my front bumper in and scared me a lot. My car was only a couple weeks old so of course I was shaken. I pulled off and googled the closest BMW . When I pulled into the service lane, Mr. Brent Gustafson greeted me right away. He was so kind and after getting on his hands & knees to check the damage, he pulled out the piece & assured me it was fine. he saw all the bugs from my long drive and took the car and had it washed! I am truly thankful to him I wanted to make sure he was acknowledged. It was a late Sunday afternoon near closing! I felt he went far & beyond to make sure not only my car but I was okay to continue my trip.Even Sent me inside for snacks for the rest of my trip . THANK YOU AGAIN !!! More
One of the Best Service experiences I have ever had. My cars Check Engine light came on 20 miles of Ocala on Saturday. I am from Atlanta so I drove to the nearest BMW Dealer - BMW of Ocala. As I drove up cars Check Engine light came on 20 miles of Ocala on Saturday. I am from Atlanta so I drove to the nearest BMW Dealer - BMW of Ocala. As I drove up I was greeted by Robert Czaplicki - Service Advisor. Without an appointment Robert took me into his desk, diagnosed the problem and got my car in for repair. Then he arranged for me to driven to Gainesville to parents home. Rocky the driver was outstanding. All and in all a tremendous experience. I highly recommend BMW of Ocala for service and ask for Robert. More
Fabulous dealership for sales.... the absolute WORST for service. I have worked with numerous BMW dealerships and have never encountered such poor service. I naively assumed that when I scheduled an appointment a week out, that they would actually look at my car that day. When I called to get a status on my car, the service manager told me it would be "a few days" before they could look at it! I asked then why is my car sitting in the shop for two days waiting to be looked at, and I was told that they had cars there that had been there since the week before! In order for my car to be serviced, it had to be sitting on their lot with a ticket on it in line with all the other cars!!!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS and completely incompetent1 More

When my lease is done in December will never have to see this disfunctional group again. More
