I was experiencing some mechanical problems on the road returning from Boston on a 95 degree day at rush hour. I did not know if I was going to be able to make to the dealership. When I called I was returning from Boston on a 95 degree day at rush hour. I did not know if I was going to be able to make to the dealership. When I called I was greeted with professional courtesy by Nicole in the service dept. With her guidance she was able to make a service appointment for me the next morning. She was kind, caring and pleasant. The service at North Haven BMW didn't just stop there I was able to keep an appointment with my son to visit a local college. A driver from North Haven drove us to the school and was able to retrieve us several hours later to the dealership. After a consultation with the Service Manager and the mechanic I was informed of the repairs required and advised accordingly. More
I have had a few experiences with the service department at North Haven BMW. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. I purchased my BMW at a different dealership and will never return after using at North Haven BMW. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. I purchased my BMW at a different dealership and will never return after using North Haven. Each time my car has been in for service, it is done promptly and a loaner is scheduled if needed. Everyone here goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience. I have referred a friend to this dealership as well despite living over an hour away and they are just as satisfied as myself. More

The service department there not only spent the time to solve the problems that New Country ignored, they did it with a level of patience and understanding that I have never experienced from a car dealer. Not only will I continue to service both and X5 and M Roadster there, but will also likely puchase or lease my future cars from them. BMW of North Haven is a great dealer that I have recommended to many over the years. Thanks Jerry, and the entire staff at BMW of North Haven! More

You’re much better off going to Bridgeport or another local dealer instead of North Haven. But don’t take my word for it, compare reviews on North Haven and these other dealerships yourself and be the ju local dealer instead of North Haven. But don’t take my word for it, compare reviews on North Haven and these other dealerships yourself and be the judge. I was utterly surprised that my wife and I seemed to be dismissed as potential buyers. I had to ask all the questions about the vehicle we were interested in and during the test drive the salesman was nearly silent. It felt like we were perceived as a waste of his time despite the fact that my wife and I are both professionals with excellent credit who walked it with a pre-approved loan ready to buy that day. The perfect customers. To make matters worse, to begin negotiating we actually had to ask the salesman to sit at his desk to chat. No initiation on his part. Our initial offer (which was low, but intended to begin a process) was taken to the manager who never came out to meet us but instead sent a counter offer via the salesman that was only slightly below their asking price and said there was no more room for negotiation. Also, when we said that won’t work, there was no attempt at selling us another vehicle that was closer to our offer (they had plenty) and when we walked out there was no follow-up call. When we shared our experience with the pre-owned manager, he was only somewhat responsive (not very apologetic) and offered to connect me with his "top" salesperson. I told him I'd think about. Again, no follow-up from him or anyone else. This was surprisingly the most bizarre and unprofessional experience we have had at any luxury or non-luxury dealership. It was even more surprising when we learned that the car had been sitting on the lot for a 2 months (now it's going on 3--it's still not sold). We were so disappointed that we decided to pass on buying our desired car from them even though they were the only dealership in the area that had the specifications we wanted and we were willing to come up to their price. We’d rather wait for another dealership to get one. Go to a BMW dealership where you will be valued as a customer and they will work to make you happy (BMW of Bridgeport is great). That’s certainly not BMW of North Haven. More
The WORST dealership I have ever been to!! They lied to me about several deals, tried incorporating things into my loan that I didn't approve, and were extremely rude! Even questioning my annual salary be me about several deals, tried incorporating things into my loan that I didn't approve, and were extremely rude! Even questioning my annual salary because I was reluctant to include all of the extra costs they were trying to force upon me!! Do NOT go to this dealership! There are many other BMW dealerships in CT (for example Watertown and Hartford), so make EVERY EFFORT POSSIBLE to avoid this place!! More

Had a transmission issue and still have it after the service visit. Charged me for oil and fluids that were not used in the car and when i asked about the charge they didn't have an answer as to why i service visit. Charged me for oil and fluids that were not used in the car and when i asked about the charge they didn't have an answer as to why i was charged for 8 quarts of oil when my car takes 6.9 bone dry. Left messages for service manager, general manager and service advisor and nobody called me back. It's not the $10 for the quart of oil it's the dishonesty of the service and i will never do any kind of business with BMW of N Haven again. They lost a customer for life because of $20. More
THEY DON'T EVEN TREAT YOU LIKE A PERSON I came across THEY DON'T EVEN TREAT YOU LIKE A PERSON I came across this dealership because I was recently looking to test drive a 1 series. It was a pleasant surp THEY DON'T EVEN TREAT YOU LIKE A PERSON I came across this dealership because I was recently looking to test drive a 1 series. It was a pleasant surprise when I found that this dealership had it in stock. (The 1 series was sold out almost everywhere in the Tri-state area) If only I did research and read the reviews about this place, I’d know to stay away… DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. I had a good experience with the salesperson as I test drove both the 128 and 135. I didn't make the decision to buy it right away because I wanted to compare prices between a few dealerships. A friend of mine who's a BMW fanatic discussed the European Delivery option with me and I was interested because I'd be able to visit Germany and drive my car there before shipping it to the US, as well as save some money on the car. He knew a couple of great BMW dealers and was able to quote the 135 for me at a very good price. As I was about to make the decision to buy my car, the BMWNH (North Haven) Salesperson called me and I updated him on my situation. He was so confident that he can beat the price, he guaranteed me it would happen, as long as I come in. (OMG… DON’T EVER FALL FOR THIS!!! CLASSIC BATE AND SWITCH) For me, the dealership is 35mins away by car. I didn’t have a car to drive anymore because the car I used before was borrowed and the owner needed it back. Upon hearing this, The BMWNH Salesperson offered to drive me down to their dealership and back just to get me to come in… I figured I’d give him a shot if he’s doing all this for me; he must have done his research and will beat the price. (Boy Was I Wrong) Going to the dealership, I had full intentions on purchasing with them. As it turned out, after 2 hours of discussions between the salesperson and his boss, they came back with a price $350 higher than the price I had. In his defense, he said that I got my quote from a dealership in California and it isn’t the same market place. This is bulls*** because for the European Delivery option, you have the choice of delivering the car to the dealership you ordered it from OR Greer, South Carolina (BMW Performance Center) I was going to fly down to SC and take a road trip back home with my new 135. (So it didn’t matter where I buy the car) and by the way, all the sales people know this, or SHOULD know this. I was disappointed… but after 2 hours, all I wanted was to go home… The manager won’t let the salesperson take a company car to drive me back because it’s after hours and the sales person all of a sudden “have plans” and have to leave… so there I was, 32 miles away from home and was about to be stranded. What kind of people offer you a ride to and back from their store because they have a deal for you, and if you don’t decide to take the deal, because it wasn’t a deal at all… they decide to kick you to the curb and leave you. They just kept saying, “we’ll call you a cab, or you can walk home” as if using my ride home as a bribe or threat to sign a deal with them. (You can imagine how furious I was) In the end, they somehow came to their senses and said they’ll match the price and give me a ride home regardless of my decision. But after being lied to and treated like garbage, I’m in no mood to do business with them no matter how good the deal was. Upon arrival to my home, the salesperson even made racist remarks about my ethnicity… BMW is a great brand and they make great cars, but these people are seriously ruining its image. Sorry to bore you with the long story, but I hope it’ll help you make a wiser decision about your purchase. DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL COSTS!!! More
