No Leadership Skills Nicole the service manager has little or no leadership skills and apparently has done little to encourage her staff to be the best they can be. My 20 Nicole the service manager has little or no leadership skills and apparently has done little to encourage her staff to be the best they can be. My 2013 was in for routine service and on the way to pick it up in the 2014 BMW loaner I was rear-ended on the highway. My first thought was to call the service department to find out how to proceed. The person answering MADE NO INQUIRIES about injuries, instead immediately informing me that I would be responsible for my insurance deductible before placing me on hold for 5 full minutes. The next person I spoke with also expressed only an interest in the $500 and a police report, not injuries before placing me on hold again! After an additional 5 minutes on hold the CT State Trooper asked me to hang up so I could provide the usual information. I phoned back a third time and finally reached Nicole, the service manager who had one single agenda, the $500 insurance deductible again never asking about personal injuries. No one in the service department once asked about injuries to the occupants of either cars. When I asked Nicole where on the loan agreement it said I was required to forfeit the deductible she didn't know and had to read the entire agreement while I was on the phone with her. As the manager she should know what she has her customers signing, she did not. I don't know how Nicole got this position but her and her staffs incredible insensitivity in a traumatic situation questions her management skills and leadership and although overall my experiences at BMW of North Haven have been good. I cannot give my service or repair business to a department with a manager without any humanity and I suggest the readers of this consider the same. More
