I searched for the perfect BMW for several months before buying my dream car at BMW of North Haven. I had previously had some really horrible experiences with other dealerships, so I was hesitant when I fou buying my dream car at BMW of North Haven. I worked with Basel and he was so informative, professional and friendly from start to finish. He explained all of the features and benefits of the vehicle, without being pushy. There was a stop sale on my x3 at the time and he was very transparent about the fact that I would not be able to leave the dealership until the recall had been resolved. I put a deposit down and Basel went above and beyond to keep me in the loop about any updates about the recall, which was much appreciated! I was notified immediately when it was lifted. When I went to pick up my car, everyone I interacted with was so helpful and kind! It felt like a luxurious experience purchasing a car from this dealership and I cannot say enough nice things about Basel and the rest of the team! I was so turned off by the lack of customer service. I continued to call and after 3 calls I got a text message name 5 other things than what I brought it in for. I tried to call to ask about my issue a I continued to call and after 3 calls I got a text message name 5 other things than what I brought it in for. I tried to call to ask about my issue and left 2 additional messages. I asked the secretary what is the point of having an advisor if she ain’t available to ADVISE. I’m not declining the services because I have questions. Finally after 5 hours I just declined. An hour later I got a call, I just told her to have my car ready, I don’t want to talk anymore. I actually located another dealer to help me. She said she would call when my car was ready. An hour later I just showed up and my car was parked with keys at the desk. Never called me. Customer service is what’s sells and you lack it. More
