Nicholas helped me with the purchase of my 2009 750i via the internet. I've never purchased a car without seeing it before but he made the process very easy for me. I scheduled a 3rd party inspector and Nicholas helped me with this process. He was also nice enough to take extra pictures and do the homework necessary to answer all my questions about options including sending me a printout from BMW which listed all the detail I was looking for. He helped me with Finance, shipping the car to Texas, and getting my license plates. I emailed him to ask about my tires 3 months after the sale and he still replied the same day and was willing to help. I would recommend Nicholas to anyone in Rhode Island or anyone wanting to buy a car over the internet. Even the receptionist as this dealership was always nice, timely, and profesional. I came to BMW of Newport based on a recommendation from a friend of mine who recently worked with Mark Tortolani on a 750 Series pruchase. I have to say that I was extremely happy with my experience with wor friend of mine who recently worked with Mark Tortolani on a 750 Series pruchase. I have to say that I was extremely happy with my experience with working with Mark, as my past experiences workign with new car salesmen have not been the most enjoyable experiences. Mark is extremely knowledgeable about the BMW line of vehicles and he was happy to take the time to review all the possible options I had when finalizing my purchase of a new 750x Li. I would recommend my friends and family to BMW of Newport and Mark Tortolani in a heartbeat. He was a joy to work with on such a large, important purchase for me and my family. Thank you Mark!! More

Everyone was very friendly. Made appointment and though I arrived late they were waiting for me and had the car ready for my test drive. I am from Massachusetts so it was an out of state sale. They were able to get all the paper work set with my lender and my insurance co. with ease. The day I showed up to pick up the car they explained everything I needed to know about the vehicle. I had only had been given one key for the car I mentioned it to the salesman and he said Justin was working to get me the key. I have bought cars before and as soon as you paid and driven off the lot you are pretty much on your own. I thought I would have to call repeatedly to obtain the key. But within couple of days they called to see how I liked my new car and informed that they had the key and it would shipped to me via UPS. Great dealership to work with they had the car I wanted and did not have vehicles listed that did not exist like another BMW dealership here in Massachusetts. More

Never having had a bad experience with BMW, I found myself in unfamiliar territory when I ran in to trouble with a financed X3. I was very uncomfortable in a new finance agreement because my vehicle wa myself in unfamiliar territory when I ran in to trouble with a financed X3. I was very uncomfortable in a new finance agreement because my vehicle was in constant need of repair. I was unsure how the salespeople would respond to my request to get out of the agreement, and I was prepared to hear that nothing could be done. To the contrary, Jim Tarbox listened to my story, read the service notes, and agreed that I should move on to a newer car. He turned a potentially bitter situation into a reasonable and fair transaction. I was able to turn in my X3 and replace it with a newer (325xi) which I adore. I am seriously thrilled with my younger, sportier automobile and more so with the painless process at BMW. Many thanks to Jim Tarbox and Bill Woodcock for taking care of me. More
