A special plus for Chris in Service who we consider a friend; and our newest acquaintance Sim Santos, who is the ultra-savvy tech-guru whose knowledge and tutoring skills are essential to understanding and enjoying the Driving Machine's multitude of technical applications; which are simply amazing. I brought my 2012 335is convertible to this dealer due to an issue with my hardtop that my friend could not fix at the dealership he works for. BMW fixed the mechanical issue. I had a slightly cracked trim an issue with my hardtop that my friend could not fix at the dealership he works for. BMW fixed the mechanical issue. I had a slightly cracked trim piece on the hardtop. The piece was still attached, and I had no problem with it when putting up or taking down my hardtop. It had a small crack but still maintained the ascetics of the car. The mechanic broke the piece off. He said it happened when he was putting the top down. Like I said before, the piece had endured at least 50 complete rotations of the top. So instead of mentioning that they broke off the piece, they only offered to replace the piece for an estimated $1,700. I asked for the piece back and they had thrown it away. They found it and it was now in three pieces. It was clear that the pieces were snapped of. Again, I admit the piece had a small crack, but it still served its purpose. Now I have a missing piece that is over two inches long and exposes a metal rod and elbow to the elements. The mechanic would not take responsibility and just walked away. I was hoping that the service representative who created up the work order would offer something but all he gave me was the broken pieces. My only mistake was not asking Drew to have it resolved right there and then. then again, I had to leave to get my child off the bus. More

If you are considering purchasing a BMW, I would recommend BMW of Myrtle Beach. In particular my salesman, Mike Maely. With all the new features that were in the vehicle it was difficult for this senior citizen to completely understand with just one sitting. Mike's help did not end with delivery of my new vehicle. I stopped at the dealership on two different occasions and Mike always had time in his busy schedule to help explain and demonstrate the various safety and convenient features, so I was able to understand and use them. We looked at several ways to finance the sale and fit into my financial plans. It turned out a 36 month lease was best for all! The finance mgr. also was very knowledgeable and professional. I discovered a very minor problem with one of the air vent louvers. The service advisor, Drew Leide also very helpful and is handling the new part and installation plans. Michael also was nice enough to call me two days after possession to see how things were going - Great was my answer since I had just completed an all day trip to Charlotte and back. Love the car! a 2021 228i X and got 37 MPG! This was not my 1st deal with Michael I had purchased my 2017 330i from him. I had brought the car in for overnight service and he e-mailed me to see if maybe it was time to upgrade? Great move on his part because he made it happen! Rich Carlson More
