Tall tales from the get go and just a horrible experience Purchased a used BMW, traded in my car. Our salesman was never that great, the kind of guy who promises you anything just to make a sale. This part of Purchased a used BMW, traded in my car. Our salesman was never that great, the kind of guy who promises you anything just to make a sale. This part of the deal actually turned out to be the best. We left with the BMW and a promise that they would handle everything, call our insurance etc. One week later they call to ask the insurance company phone number again. They still haven't paid off my trade in at this point. Repeated calls to them about when they would payoff the trade ( which was now for sale on their lot). It took three weeks, the salesman blamed Cadillac. Im sure Cadillac holds payoffs ( not). I receive a letter from the South Carolina DMV that the insurance on my car is canceled with a note not to ignore this letter or your license will be suspended and you will be arrested for driving without insurance. The DMV hadn't gotten anything from the dealership about the new car either. Then I got a tax bill for the Cadillac. It needed to be paid. I went to the tax office and told them I traded it in three weeks before and didn't think I should have to pay the new tax bill. They let me off the hook for the Cadillac but needed me to pay the tax bill on the BMW, she suggested I take everything to the registry with the warning not to ignore the DMV. They saw my proof of a trade and let me off the hook and suggested I go to the dealership and let them know I had already paid the tax on the BMW. So I went in to the dealership, merely to repeat this and tell them I went to the DMV and paid the bill already. The rude salesman said that he had told my husband not to do this, we should have ignored the tax office and the DMV and now I have screwed it up and its going to be weeks before its registered. The guy said we were stupid , should have ignored the letters, nothing would have happened. This is a lie on his part. The letters were received on July 3 and July 5 and we didn't speak to him on either day. He mocked me when I told him this. To Joe I say, you are the worst car salesman I have ever had the displeasure to meet. You lied about every aspect of this transaction, including when we would receive a second key . You blew us off everytime we contacted you and then had the gaul to stand face to face and tell me my husband is stupid! The only one stupid here is him and the dealership who is in a small town and thinks that they can treat people ignorantly. The reputation of this dealer is posted all over Yelp and Facebook and obviously they do not care about customer service. A word to them: Karma will catch up with you, you cannot treat people like crap and expect repeat customers, there are not enough people in Myrtle Beach to keep you in business, they will turn to dealerships who treat people correctly. The only good thing I can say its the car seems to be good. I wonder if the HigginBothams would like their mother, sister, daughter etc to be treated like I was at your dealership? More

David sensed my uncertainty, and he quickly sat me down to begin the business at hand. Within a matter of minutes, my car was taken to the back for service, and I was seated in the customer lounge with an offer of refreshments and comfort. Didn't take long as appointment was scheduled and service was routine. I am pleased with service and hospitality. More

It's amazing for a $14,000 car they would tarnish their name. A happy person tells 1 person, a dissatisfied person tells 10. Guess what, I'm going to tell everyone I see!!! Terrible terrible customer service and salesman.... BD Banks thank you for selling us a bad suv!! We will never be back!!!! More
Beware of Service Department Took my BMW (which is leased) in for scheduled service. How can that go wrong you ask? What's the one thing not covered on a lease? TIRES. I made the Took my BMW (which is leased) in for scheduled service. How can that go wrong you ask? What's the one thing not covered on a lease? TIRES. I made the mistake of telling them I had a plug in one of my run flats. I had no issues with the plug. No sensor warnings. Lo and behold the service writer tells me there's a leak in the plug and a new tire is $425. I told him I wanted to shop around. You guessed it-tire pressure sensor going crazy. Tire leaking. They are shifty characters. I paid $175 for the tire elsewhere. I will have future work done at BMW Columbia. More
