dishonest service department My six cylinder engine developed a misfire at 35k miles. They performed a diagnostic test and confirmed what I already knew. They claimed it needed si My six cylinder engine developed a misfire at 35k miles. They performed a diagnostic test and confirmed what I already knew. They claimed it needed six new coils and six new spark plugs. The price quoted was $1100.00. When confronted they admitted it was 1 coil that was causing the misfire however "the 1 new coil would not be able to communicate with the existing coils" after arguing about it I gave up and regrettably paid to have the recommended work done. while picking up the car the service person was telling the exact same xx to another unsuspecting customer with the same make and model car. My advise to you is to find a qualified mechanic that's not affiliated with this dealership. More
never coming back unless forced Had my BMW for almost two years , never had an issue . Until I need to go in for oil change . Took car in , oil change done, I then was told I need 4new tires . Okay I’ll get four new tires no problem , I go to pay for services and it’s 100 dollars more then what I was told. I simply asked service desk why that is? it’s bc you needed an alignment , they two lady at the front desk say. I said,” okay but why didn’t the service Department tell me that wasn’t included in the price over the phone?” (I’m not one for surprises btw ). The lady is on the phone basically mocking me And telling the service desk guy”would you like to explain to her why she needs an alignment very rudely and right in front of me, shocked , I said “I didn’t even know i needed an alignment “, and (I’ll be honest I know jack about cars), I guess it fact , I guess I wasn’t allowed to be explained what I was paying for without a bullying session , however I would liked to have been clued in on what I was paying for .apprently pricing is a big secret that everyone automatically knows. So the ladies at the desk continue to bluntly explain to me “that’s why they don’t drove a bmw” , again rudely ,(( and because I drive a bmw I guess money should never be questioned? ))that’s why they drive A Honda and Toyota , Or whatever it was . Shocked at how Rude they were, I stormed out . This must be why people never smile when They leave . Thank you for my first experience at BMW myrtle beach . I’ll switching back and soon to a Jeep Wrangler! Because at least their honest and friendly More

Sadly, they lost another local customer whom has bought here Purchased a vehicle from this dealership last year with no problems. I negotiated a fair price and made my cash purchase. Very disappointed in sales department. Found a vehicle and to my shocking surprise they would not move at all on the asking price. Found another vehicle and the same thing. They said they were selling both vehicles at a loss. Now I know this certainly is NOT the case. My trade in value was $4,500 less than the competition. I wonder why this is? The place was fairly empty besides tire kickers. I was there to buy a car, and to buy a car cash with trade. I was very disappointed in the salesperson, Joe Davis whom was uttering four letter words while son the phone with me. I should have called him out on it. I just found it easier to tell him he lost a sale for the aforementioned reasons. When a dealer has advertised pricing, I have never paid asking price ever and for them to be so far off on the trade-SAD! The sales manager has always been attentive but this time did not take the time to spend with me. Most of the communication was after my initial viewing and attempted negotiating. The other was on the phone with the salesperson. The had to talk to the wholesale trade person to determine the value of my trade. Overall -Terrible experience and will NEVER be back as a result. I will gladly drive to Charleston or Wilmington for my BMW needs. Suggestion to the sales manager- Train your staff to be polite and professional, not rude and condescending. Considering it is the customers that keep you in business,I expected much more, especially being a second time buyer. One would think dealers would want to build long term relationships and not destroy them.. Just a thought guys More
