Bad faith negotiations I would not advise dealing with them. They continuously negotiated with me in bad faith. I spent a ton of time working with them on a new car purchase, and was about to go to the point of taking a train to them to pick up a new car, when I realized they'd been dishonest with me about the price. I was looking for a very specific car, with a certain set of options. Murrietta had one of the few cars in the area in stock. I had a price in mind which was in line with other quotes from nearby dealers and asked Bianca to meet it. After some back and forth she said she could not, and I thought we were done. Then I started to receive multiple sales calls per day, surveys to understand why we couldn't close a deal, etc. I answered honestly. Then a few days later I got a call from the general manager, George. He asked what we could do to close a deal. I quoted him my price. He then asked what we could do to close a deal RIGHT NOW and I quoted him a lower price- which he said he could not meet. But he did say he could meet my price and that he had saved the deal, I could come back and take advantage of it (I was not expecting his call, so wasn't prepared to decide on the spot). I called them back in about 24 hours and said I was ready to go- it's now about 7 pm on Friday night. They said that in order to close the deal at this price it had to be done same day. Tomorrow the price would go up. I live an hour away, so said look you tell me what to do but I'm physically unable to get to you tonight. They tried to run my credit, process everything that night, but ran into a problem with an incentive that I was supposed to be eligible for. On Thursday, when I spoke to George and we agreed on "my price" that incentive was 500 dollars. The next day I realized that my paperwork was not in order with USAA, and wouldn't be in time to close this "expiring now!" offer. So I decided to eat the $500 and buy the car for "my price plus 500". They informed me that on Friday, the USAA incentive has actually increased to 1000, and so now they would have to sell me the car for "my price plus 1000". First of all, if the USAA incentive increased on Friday, shouldn't I have had the benefit of it? Second of all, we had agreed on a price on Thursday based on a 500 incentive. When that didn't work out, I offered to go into my pocket to make up the 500. But now they wouldn't accept that and abide by their original deal. But then, of course after a nice long interval, great news, Bianca called to tell me that her manager had finally approved to get my payments down to "my price plus 500"! Whoopee! I booked a train ticket and arranged to spend most of my Saturday getting there but, lo and behold, when I got the paperwork in writing, the way we got from "+1000" to "+500" was my making a 500 dollar down payment. So, they didn't actually come down in price at all, they just had me pay more upfront... So, they did not honor the agreement we had on Thursday on the phone, they pressured me into closing a deal at 7pm on Friday, and then lied to me on Saturday about the terms of the deal I was going to receive. In addition to being dishonest, they wasted a ton of my time. The only good thing about this whole experience was that Bianca had the decency to send me the details of the sale in writing before I left my house to go there (only 1 hour before)... I'm not sure what I would have done had I been stranded there. That earns them exactly 1 star. More
