If God would have created a dealership from xxxx..."BMW of Mobile" would have been the one. My wife took her 2005 Z4 into the dealership for service as before for a simple oil change with co xxxx..."BMW of Mobile" would have been the one. My wife took her 2005 Z4 into the dealership for service as before for a simple oil change with coupon in hand and to get an estimate on repairs to the under body engine cover assembly that over the years of wear and tear of rubbing on every driveway, because the 2005 Z4 sits so low...She also needed to have her radiator tank replaced because it had a crack at the molded seal of the plastic tank.. The dealerships service department was not overly busy and this was the second time to return to try to obtain service on these issues, but in order to do the services and for the dealership to do a complete inspection of her car the service adviser Angie advised that she also needed to have brake fluid changed and the automatic transmission fluid changed because they looked dirty.. Ok'd all of the charges with Angie the service adviser on the oil change, radiator tank replacement, fluid changes for the brakes and the transmission, but these would take all day so Angie gave my wife a loaner BMW X1 and told her she would call... Later upon return at lunch to check up she spoke with the body shop guy and got her estimate from him. The estimate was $1,200.00 and was to repair and repaint her front bumper which was not even for the damaged area she requested the estimate on. She ask him for that one and was told the service department would estimate that repair. The wife just turned and went back to work... No call and my wife had several meetings and conferences calls so did not have the time to call herself.. Angie or any person with the dealership NEVER CALLED. Next morning at 6 ish wife gets electronic message say her car was ready. Angie was not at work when she called around 10:00-AM and the service person she spoke with could not find her paperwork. Went to the dealership and the service adviser still could not find her paperwork so he told her she would just have to wait and that he was too busy...Wife waited 30 minutes and he still had no answer...and started getting rude to her while taking a phone call. She waited and finally the paperwork was found....after he made a call to Angie.... After reviewing her bill they had overcharged her and she was again told to wait and he would take care of it. Well he could not figure how to credit her account back and again was told to wait.. Figured it out and she left the dealership. Oh. I almost forgot...On the phone while getting advise from Angie in a glass room next to the service desk with two other gentlemen customers also waiting for help he called by wife a The xxxxx .....Not Cool.. Will never return.....I will Go to Pensacola BMW Dealer...."Sandy" knows how to manage a dealership ...................... More
RIP OFF. PEEPARE TO HIRE A LAWYER. DEALERSHIP UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP WITH POOR MNGMT. SERVICE DEPT IS A SCAM. TAKE IN TO REPAIR ONE THING AND KEEP FINDING NEW PROBLEMS. YET FINE ON DIAGNOSTIC. Last year I took our BMW to this dealership because of location. I scheduled a oil change and detail and was told to drop the car off at 8am which I did. When I got there, they didn't have any records of me making an appointment. They did take the car and as I stated, I needed the oil changed and I asked for car to be detailed. They said that the car would be ready after lunch and that they would call me when it was ready. I never received a call. Around 4pm, I called and the service advisor said that she would have to call me back...I waited another hour until 5pm and had a co-worker of mine drop me off at the dealer. When I told them that I was there to pick up my car, they said that it would be right up. I waited in the waiting area for another hour. At 6:15pm, I went back into the service office to ask what was going on and they still had no answer. I finally got my car at closing time but to my surprise, it hadn't even been washed, muchless detailed. Yet I paid almost $200 for the detail. I had to bring the car back the next day for them to detail it...which by the way was not done very well at all. Fast forward over a year and today I found myself having to use them again for an oil change because my regular service center is booked and I had to get my oil changed before a long trip. I dropped my car off at 8:00am and it is now 1:05pm as I type this...I called and guess what, my service advisor can't give me any information...........oh my God........an entire year later and no improvements.....Wow...just wow! More

Made an appointment for service on my BMW, said they would call in an hour or two and let me know what was wrong. Never called. I called the next morning and they told me what it was. Said they would call me the next day when it was finished, they never did. I called two days later and they said it needed a part. I said ok, why didn't you let me know you needed it and my car wouldn't be ready? Their response: "sorry". After I called for updates every day I eventually got tired and decided to let them call me when it was done. They never did. Next thing I know, they're calling me threatening to charge me for the loaner because I've kept it too long. They never told me my car was ready. Now the manager has to approve me getting a loaner car only after I approve service to the car because "of a previous loaner car incident". Appalling service. More
I got a certified per-own vehicle that resulted to be a lemon, after three visits to the dealer in 3 months I own the vehicle, they still not fixing it. What a mess! When I first contacted BMW of Mobile all was great. They called quickly when I inquired about a car and I was able to buy a used Altima. The sales manager and sales person were very helpful and friendly. The problem I have had is getting the second intelligent/remote key that was supposed to come with the car. Evidently the previous owner didn’t give them both keys, but the sales person was trying to get it from them. I contacted the sales person in Jan, Feb, March and April but to no avail. I even asked if I could purchase one, have it programmed for my car and they could just reimburse me but I didn’t get a response. I really don’t want to give this dealership a bad review but because I never received a solution to this issue I can’t. I feel I gave them numerous opportunities and even gave them a way to fix the issue by reimbursing me. More
