Two days ago I became the proud owner of my second pre-owned BMW. I couldn’t be happier. However, I couldn’t let the week end without letting you know that the success of this purchase is the direct pre-owned BMW. I couldn’t be happier. I wanted to purchase this car with my 24-year old son, who has recently started his own business, but couldn’t afford to invest a large sum of money into a new vehicle. We wanted a safe car, a car with an excellent reputation, a car with a classic yet edgy appearance AND within our price range. Unlike other sales people, Jean-Paul never said “it’s not possible”. He spent a significant amount of time with us while exhibiting patience, professionalism and understanding of my son’s needs and my safety concerns. Everything he promised, he delivered. Just purchased A preowned vehicle on 07/24 from BMW OF MANHATTAN. I must say that this purchase has been the best experience I have ever had buying anything anywhere. My experience at BMW of Manhattan was simply terrible. CPO "Client Advisor," Roy was by far the rudest person I have ever met. On numerous occasions he called me a liar and even went as far as showing up CPO "Client Advisor," Roy was by far the rudest person I have ever met. On numerous occasions he called me a liar and even went as far as showing up 20 minutes late to a meeting he scheduled with me. His response was: "I have a lot of things to do." The car he sold me was for a fair price, but later I found out that BMW of Manhattan had crashed the car in their own parking garage after I had put a deposit down. They didn't tell me and proceeded to have their own body shop do a poor job at fixing the damage. After I took delivery, I questioned them about the damage, they took the car back to their body shop assuring me the damage would be fixed properly. Well, to this day, I am still looking at poor paint work. This was my first ever car purchase and I am completely surprised that BMW America would stand for having these guys part of their franchise. I recommend you venture outside of Manhattan for your BMW purchase and service. More
