I picked up a new BMW 328xi on Thursday, March 14, 2013. Adrian made sure that the car had been fully inspected, took care of all the required paperwork (BMW, Insurance, Motor Vehicles, etc) and explained all the new features of the 2013 model. I would award him 5 stars for all his efforts and will definitely ask for him, in 3 years, when I'm ready to lease my next BMW. More
I had to come here a few times because I was unable tl get an appointment at life quality BMW (my favorite service location.) i needed to get my car serviced for my engine, it constantly felt like it was get an appointment at life quality BMW (my favorite service location.) i needed to get my car serviced for my engine, it constantly felt like it was going to stall out (I drive an automatic 328XI.) My service advisor was not informative or helpful in this matter. He attempted to charge me for two diagnostics, each costing $160. In the end the only work that was done was "s leaning of some rust surrounding the spark plugs." They had my car for three days meaning I had to rent a car for that duration. My service advisor was difficult to reach. I tried calling and emailing tues-thurs, he finally responded on Thursday to let me know how much I now owed and what work had been done. I picked up my car Saturday morning because they closed Friday before I was able to get off work. My engine continued to shake, basically he charged me for an engine diagnostic and a steering diagnostic (why he ran a steering diagnostic makes no sense to me.) I will never get my car serviced at BMW of Manhattan ever again. I will continue to go to life quality BMW in Brooklyn as I always have. More

On multiple occasions I had to bring back my car because the repairs were just not made, although I was certainly charged hefty fees. There was always an "explanation". Ultimately, as my patience wore thin, I sold the cars -- two high end 7 series -- and am no longer a BMW owner. Had I been told that the work would not guaranty a repair that resolved the issue, I would have saved thousands. And, with a one car that was under warranty, so that costs were picked up by BMW, return trips were necessitated, I was told, because BMW mandated certain protocols be followed so that cheaper fixes could be attempted before the final and definitve repair could be charged. BMW would follow up the service visits with an email asking for my feedback. But is it no surprise that after describing my problems with them in response, there was no further follow up to me. So now I am a happy Audi driver. More

Having owned seven BMWs over the years, we've dealt with a host of dealers on both coasts, most exemplary and some abysmally awful (Princeton BMW, I'm looking at you). But BMW of Manhattan has always treated us right, both on sales and service issues. We would recommend Birgit highly, and even though we've moved to Texas, we would still go back to her to buy our next BMW. More
I was contacted by Birgit Allen to refinance my 2007 550i since I had a ballon pymt coming due in April 2013. As always she is very helpful and gets things done. I got a decent finance rate with better terms for myself. Granted it was a small loan that I signed for. You would think that I took out a large loan. We drove home in our new BMW this evening, and couldn't be more pleased by the experience of this purchase. I called Jean Paul last week, told him I was in the market for a new but used X3. He said he didn't have one at the moment but was expecting one that week. The next day he called and said he got one in and that we'd love it. We went right away to have a look, was able to smoothly negotiate a trade in, and a few days after that were driving away in a perfectly detailed, pre-owned X3. Jean Paul stayed late on both nights we were there to carefully and thoroughly walk us through the process, and tonight, even though this was probably not one of the biggest sales out of that location today, took the time to show us every button and its function and made sure we were totally happy with the experience. I would recommend working with Jean Paul to ANYONE in the market for a new, quality BMW. He knows his business, loves the brand he represents, and was an ABSOLUTE pleasure to work with.
